They do different languages at preschool so DD will say random words to me in a foreign languages. This morning as we were eating breakfast she said blah blah blah is breakfast in German. Shoot. I have no idea. They do German, Spanish, Mandarin, French, and Japanese. I am going to have to keep up!

Awesome! She can come over and converse with G any time! He can count in Spanish, at least I know those words!

No, thank goodness! But, she learns things at daycare that we never talk about at home. For instance, she learned about Dora and Elmo at daycare because one of the other toddlers brought a Dora doll and they have and Elmo toy...

We sent her to a Jewish school for a year, so she knows the Hebrew alphabet and a bunch of prayers. She taught me a lot of cute Jewish preschool songs and we sing them sometimes. We think it's great even though we are Catholic!

So cute!! Yes, LO broke out in an awesome prayer one day and I had her repeat it over and over again so I could learn it.

LO studies mandarin at school and after his first year, he already knows more than me. I ask him how to say things just so I can learn the proper pronunciation.

Yes! DS is in a bilingual German/English preschool and he has learned a ton of German words and songs and I don't understand him! It's terrible (for me) since I haven't been able to sign up for German classes yet.
@Rubies: DS learned about Mickey Mouse at school. We don't do any Disney or similar characters, so it's a bit strange when he recognizes something like that. I don't really mind since it is part of the general culture, but it's just not something we do at home.
