how many do you have?

For pumping into or for feeding from? I only had 4 bottles to pump into (two for work, two for home). For feeding from at daycare I had 6.

@pelikila: both. I can actually pump into my Dr. Browns bottles. I have like 8 plastic pumping bottles that came with my pump. But 4 feeding bottles.

I may sway the results, but we have a TON!
I was pumping 3-4 times per day at work so just to be safe I packed 6-8 bottles with me. Then LO was taking 4 bottles to daycare so our daily total needed was about 12. We wanted enough for 2 days so we have about 30 bottles.
We ended up buying the Gerber bottles becase they fit to my pump and she didn't mind the nipples. They are plastic but they are made in the USA and BPA free. I've found them at Target and Amazon. They are 3 for $3 and I was able to stock up during a Buy one get one 50% off sale.

I only bottle fed for the first 2 months. I registered for the same # of bottles as you. Ended up returning the 8 ounces though. Had 2 Dr Brown's glass bottles that I rotated between.
I plan on giving baby 2 the bottle during the day and breast at night so will probably buy at least 4-8 more?

We have around 8 or 9 that we use, all the plastic Medela bottles that came with my three(!) pumps. I send 3 to daycare and take 4 to work to pump into.
We also have a bunch of Born Free glass bottles that I registered for, but my LO refuses to use them. What a waste!

olive has three comotomo bottles that she gets during the day (sometimes she gets 4 bottles so the bottles have to be washed, but she's at home so it's ok).
and then i have 8 medela bottles that i pump into and keep pumped milk in the fridge.

I rotate between 3 4oz bottles and use the medela storage bottles. I really like those especially because LO drinks 2-3 oz at a time when drinking from a bottle.

@Coco Bee: Adventures in pumping! I've got the heavy duty electric double pump for work and the manual single I bought for home. And then a couple weeks ago I had a total meltdown over my supply, so I went out and bought a single electric so I could pump more at home. Whew! I might as well have sent my LO's college fund straight to Medela.
