My LO is allergic to both whites and yolks (among other food allergies). When he was younger I noticed a slight reaction but nothing major. When he has cow's milk or peanuts his mouth gets red and itchy. Sometimes his eye will get red and swollen as well. So the egg allergy isn't as severe as the rest.

I make sure to avoid eggs in what I cook for him. Since he is also allergic to cow's milk, it's easier for me to look for vegan products. I use flax meal in place of egg in a lot of recipes as a binder.

So far the numbers have gone down. There is a hope he will eventually outgrow it.

LO has an egg intolerance. She can eat them in foods (like pancakes or cookies) but not by themselves - yolk or white. She last had them at 9/10 months, and we'll try again at 15 months, which is just a little over a week away. She reacts by puking... A lot. We tried 3 different times, but it wasn't until the third that we got a reaction strong enough for us to be concerned.

My oldest has an egg white allergy and it has gotten significantly better with time. When he was a baby I had to avoid eggs completely or he would get a rash and green poop. After a year it started getting better and he could very occasionally have a baked good that contained some egg and be ok. At two, I am giving him actual yolks with just a tiny bit of white. The thing that we've noticed is that when he has eggs his immune system is slightly depressed and he is more likely to get a cold. Essentially it's going away but we are still being careful. FWIW- the reason I am giving him some egg and not avoiding it completely is because there is recent research that you can help them build up a tolerance that way- but I would obviously check with your doctor before doing something like that.
