I'm going to wait for a long time on eggs. Probably 2 years. I have a cousin who is VERY allergic to eggs (like, will die if he has them) so I don't want to chance it too early.

@MamaMoose: my nephew is also quite allergic to eggs. Like breakout even if he touches it! So I'll probably wait a while as well.

right after we started solids. 7 months?
the only foods i don't give olive are nuts and honey. everything else (unless it's too spicy or too chewy) is pretty much fair game.

They're eating eggs right now
Scrambled eggs was one of the very first foods I gave both my girls, and they love them! We have eggs nearly every day for breakfast

@Mrs. Bee: Do you do peanut butter or other things that may have nuts, or just not whole nuts that are a choking hazard?
We gave her things cooked with eggs before a year, but just now at a year gave her like scrambled eggs.

I give her a fried egg yolk for breakfast along with a multigrain English muffin. I started the egg yolk around 8 months...our pediatrician recommended waiting to feed egg whites until a year

@Thehistoryofus: we don't do anything that may have any nuts -- peanut, almond, pine, etc. Most likely she's not allergic since Charlie isn't and we don't have family histories of food allergies. but peanut allergies are scary!
