Aaw, thanks for the messages everyone! They inserted the propress at 9.30 this morning and, as yet, nothing has happened!! I've been marching round the hospital like a nut trying to get contractions started but sweet FA! Its now 3pm. Sigh. I sent DH home at noon to have a few more hours sleep!
I'm on a ward with two other ladies who are in early labour and they are moaning and groaning and whimpering and one appears to be calling "mummy" (neither speaks English so I'm not sure what they are actually saying!). They're both lying on their backs, writhing - I feel like making them come out walking with me!!
Anyway, I'm off back to the ward now to bounce on a ball (no signal inside the hospital) - keep your FX something happens soon, please, because I'm so bored!!

@Cherrybee: Good luck to you! Do you have a breast pump with you? My induction didn't really kick into high gear until I did about an hour of nipple stimulation (my mid wife's suggestion).

@hergreenapples: I'm not sure I want to do nipple stimulation on a ward with two other women and their husbands! Lol. I might get desperate though if nothing happens soon!! That'll teach them for interrupting my attempted nap with their noisy contracting!
