I too had a stubborn baby girl who was way too comfy! Just remember that you get a baby at the end of all this.

Its now 7.30pm. The labour ward is very busy and the don't have enough staff to look after me *even if they could* break my water so they decided not to examine me this evening... I'm having mild aches and lots of soreness but still nothing significant. The propess has been in for the max 32 hrs so I was told to pull it out. I will be given another dose tomorrow if there's not enough progress to allow my water to be broken. Sigh.
@Mrs. Jacks: I'm 38+5 with GD. Yeah, baby isn't ready to come whatsoever!

So, its half one Tuesday afternoon, I'm a teeny fingertip dilated and my cervix has softened a bit!! My second Propess pessary has been inserted - we are on the 24hr countdown to c-sectionville - but the midwife is hopeful if they can just move me another centimetre she can break my water. They had to give me nitrous oxide to get me through the internal (I'm sore and stressed out) and its awesome! I completely got the giggles! But, yeah, so much for a med free birth - I needed meds before I had even got into labour!! What a wuss!

@Cherrybee: Not a wuss. You've been through a lot. Here they won't induce for any reason until 39 weeks or after, so your baby is probably resisting the prompts to come out and meet her family

I had a csection post induction despite wanting it all natural and you know what...it was totally fine. Good luck and come on cherrybaby!!! -
