@Cherrybee: I hope as I type this, things are progressing and nearing your first face-to-face with your little lady! Don't beat yourself up about taking some meds before labor starts. Med-free can be great, but if your body/mind can't relax things won't go smoothly. Anything that helps you become calm will help you have that baby!

I'm also hoping the lack of updates means you and the new daddy are busy snuggling you new baby girl! Hope things went well and you are all doing great!

Update. Day 4. 1pm. 77 hours since I was admitted to hospital for induction and two full doses of Propress later. I have been contracting for 22 hours - it has been pretty intense - and I have dilated to a whopping 2cm. The good news is they think they will be able to break my water and put me on a hormone drip to get things moving. The bad news is they don't have any beds in the labour ward so I will be contracting up here on the general ward until they can fit me in. It will *hopefully* be today.....
I got zero sleep last night. One of the ladies in my bay was struggling to cope with contractions and was making rather a lot of noise all night. It's barbaric, really, we're here on the ward, minus our birth partners after 8pm, breathing through contractions alone as quietly as possible so as not to wake the other ladies....
Anyway, keep your fingers crossed for me. If you believe in God, please pray.... ! And thank you for all the well wishes and thoughts, it really does mean a lot.
