Not TTC yet but trying to understand my cycle. I have a LOT of EWCM (tmi) which I think is good. But I can't seem to find accurate answers about when I ovulate in relation to when I have ewcm. Before? During? After? Not charting or anything yet but I've been off the pill for a year and my periods are starting to regulate around 30-33 days.

I always heard, but not sure if this is right, that when you see that EWCM, get busy!! I think it helps the swimmers get to where they need to go.

I always had a ton of EWCM, and I got pregnant our first cycle TTC, so it's definitely good! I usually ovulated a day or two after the height of my EWCM, but you should definitely BD on days that you have EWCM!

Check out fertility friend if you haven't already. The online tutorial is a pretty fast, free, and easy read. EWCM is a sign that your body is gearing up to ovulate or is ovulating. One of the best ways, if not the best way, to confirm ovulation though, is by temping as well as observing for symptoms.

Before I was temping I would count the day my ewcm dried up as 1 dpo. Not totally accurate I guess, but it did work for me! Get busy as soon as you see any signs of it

Yes make sure you get some BD in as soon as you see EWCM! You could try tracking you BBT and/or using OPKs to better pin point your Ovulation. You should at least get a fertility friend account and track your CM so you can start seeing a pattern. Good luck!

I think you should start temping. I really enjoyed it...which may sons strange. I found that once I started seeing my EWCM I would O about 4 days later, but everyone will be different. Charting will really help you. However, like PP said, once you see EWCM make sure you BD!

Definitely start BD'ing as soon as you see lots of EWCM! And lucky girl! I always needed help in that dept!

Yep, EWCM means get busy! It's the most hospitable medium for sperm since it mimics semen and helps keep them alive and carry them up to the egg!
