Just wondering what the exact definition of exclusively breastfeeding is......
Does it mean that you do not pump or feed your LO pumped milk, you only offer breast? In my mind, if a baby is only given breastmilk, even if it is from a bottle every time, he is "exclusively breastfed."
I give may LO one bottle of pumped milk a day....does this mean I do not exclusively breastfeed?

To me, EBF means that the baby only drinks breastmilk - boob, bottle, whatever.

Exclusively breastfed means whatever you want it to for the most part. Most people agree that it means no formula. I consider that we exclusively breastfed and my son got pumped milk after I went to work. So, you are doing great!

I always thought that EBF meant no bottles or pumping. So when I was pumping I would say I breast feed AND pump.

exclusive breastfeeding is the baby getting breast milk only, whether that's via the boob or the bottle.

I agree with your definition. EBF means baby only drinks breast milk... even if it comes from a bottle. I wish I was able to EBF, but sadly it was not meant to be this time

EBF = Food comes exclusively from a human breast, whether the delivery method is bottle, boob... or even donor milk (though I imagine that's impossible financially.)

I EBF with pumping for the first 6 months. Now that she eats solids she is still exclusively on breast milk for her milk but obviously gets other food so I'm not sure what to call it now.
