LO is 5 months old and I'm toying with the idea of EP. He's been a wonderful nurser but since returning to work he gets most of his weekly meals via bottles and recently has become a not so great nurser. He almost completely rejects my right side and is so distracted at the most I can usually get him to nurse 5 minutes at a time.I'm tired of having my boob out and begging him to eat. He has been that way with bottles, too (teething i suspect!) but at least this way I'm not getting milky/pulling my shirt down every 10 min I don't mind pumping. I have a crazy fast letdown and usually am done within 10 minutes. .

Right now I pump in the mornings (one side), he nurses then I pump twice at work. He nurses a few times once I am home then I pump before bed. During the week I think it would be pretty simple to just pump when he is about to need a bottle. For example this morning he woke at 2 am so I nursed but then I pumped as soon as I got up and gave him a 7 a.m. bottle ( I would've normally nursed).

During the weekends I nurse on demand and am wondering if I decide to move towards pumping most of his bottles should I just continue to pump right before he would want to eat or should I put myself on a pump schedule?

I have a really great supply and just dont want to screw it up! Any advice would be welcomed!
