Hi All,
I have a 5 year old son and am trying for a second child. This is our second month trying. Feel sick and fatigued, and period is late (or so I think). Got a BFP on a FRER 2 days ago, faint but there. Also a BFP on a cheapie. Next day another BFP on a FRER equally faint. Today - same thing, another very faint BFP. It's worrying me that the lines have gotten no thicker. Still my period hasn't arrived. Has this happened to anyone? I am either 15DPO or, I could have been charting wrong, and 12 DPO. I feel sad/happy at once. Help? Has this happened to any of you? I would try not to worry. Lots can be effecting the darkness especially the saturation of the urine.

Sure! The top two are yesterday's. The bottom is today's FMU, and it's a squinter. I don't know what to think.

@Paddy79: I see the line in all three sticks. But I see what you mean. Also it looks like all three are different brands/batches? That could impact things too.
I would try to just wait and see what happens over another couple of days.

@Paddy79: Considering that your test this morning is lighter than your previous tests, it is possible that you are having a chemical pregnancy (very early m/c). I hope you get answers soon. Hoping for the best for you!

Pregnancy tests aren't really indicators of "how" pregnant you are. They don't necessarily get darker which is why a line is a line. Congrats - you're pregnant!

This happened to me just last week and it ended up being a chemical. That being said, I hope yours sticks! It's really hard to say anything at this point and all you can really do right now is wait and see. If you still don't get AF tomorrow but still only get a squinter, maybe call your doc and get a blood test?

Have you tried pm urinr after s hold? I had MUcH darker lines in the afternoon with my second. FMU just wasn't doing it. Crossing my fingers for you!

When this happened to me it was a chemical pregnancy, hopefully in your case you just ovulated late and it's still early. Good luck!

I've had this happen before - they were chemical pregnancies. In one instance I missed my period by almost a week before I started bleeding though.

@Paddy79: I posted this exact question in September 2014, the answers were about 50/50 whether it turned out to be a healthy pregnancy or not. In my case, unfortunately, I had an early miscarriage.

It does sound like a chemical to me. I hope I'm wrong! I will say that I don't recommend a digital. They're much less sensitive and I've even had a negative on one the day after a positive on one, even when my levels were going up.

Thanks all. I hope it's not a chemical. I am just trying to resist testing again because I will go blind squinting at more lines. Still no AF. I went to my dr. yesterday for a beta test, so fingers crossed! They said they would call today with answers.

Hi everyone,
My doctor just called to say it's really too early to know too much, but that my beta is 7. She thinks I might only be 10dpo. They want me to come back in two days to see if it is increasing. So whatever is to be is to be. Thanks for the advice!! -
