@bhbee: @mrskansas: I'm hoping this is it for you ladies!!
AFM, I'm 16 dpo today (I think) and the spotting I was having stopped. I'm guessing AF will be here tonight.

@crazydoglady: sorry for af coming
i managed not to test today so I’m feeling happy about that! Tomorrow I’ll be 10dpo so I’ll test unless i chicken out.

@bhbee: Thanks. Hoping you get some good news soon.
So, I just had another cycle with a 16 day luteal phase. What are the odds that OPKS aren't accurate for me and I am actually O-ing much later than I think (and not "hitting" my fertile days?
I am considering getting the Ava fertility tracker.

@crazydoglady: I have a long LP, I think it's not super common but certainly possible. I think your best bet to check might be temping, although I know that is a pain. My temp always started to rise right when I expected so that confirmed it for me.

Of course i am having cramps, which would almost get my hopes up, but also a little spotting. Ugh, probably out with more spotting to come.

@bhbee: I'm sorry. I'm really hoping there comes a time soon when this is all a distant memory.

Have any of you expert ladies had an IUI before? This is my fourth cycle on Femara except this cycle my dose was increased to 7.5mg. So glad I am using the clear blue advanced opks because my estrogen starting increasing two days early this time and the day I would go in for my monitoring appointment, would actually be the day I ovulate so glad I caught that!
Anyways, I was wondering if you had an IUI, when did you have sex before and after, if at all? My doctor had told me that I could have sex the night of the trigger shot and then the IUI would be roughly 36 hours later and that should give DH enough “rejuvenation” time

@LabradorLover: i had several iuis and that’s what we were told too. I don’t remember if we also did that night of the iui. I think we figured that day was covered at that point!

Tested today at 10dpo or so and there is a faint squinter ... but i didn’t check right away so could be an evap. Not feeling confident but cross your fingers for tomorrow. Trying to decide if i should get a frer today or use my last two wondfos first.

@bhbee: Ok, I will go for that schedule then and maybe the night of the IUI. Just had my monitoring appointment and the tech (although not supposed to tell me anything) said I have a really big follicle on my right side...nothing about my left but we were also chatting while she was on that side so who knows.
If it were me, I would go and get a FRER but that is because I am a poas-aholic and a little nutso...but who isn't when they are ttc??

@LabradorLover: I hope that follicle is the one!!
yeah, I'll probably get a frer today. the line looks more visible (though still super faint) after drying so I'm going to need a different test to confirm/deny. the last two cycles I've had only stark white wondfos but in August I had some bad evaps so I don't trust them anymore (and it's the same pack I'm pretty sure). before that a line had always meant something even if it didn't stick, but now I'm skeptical.

@bhbee: I don't blame you for being skeptical, but like MrsJBeeg said, I too will keep my fingers crossed that it is a real line!!

@MrsJBeeG: @LabradorLover: @crazydoglady: @bushelandapeck: thank you ladies!!
I caved and took a frer after a 3 hour or so hold (super faint wondfo from this morning). So i guess it’s real for now! Part of me is totally nervous after many losses but I’m very happy that at least i got far enough for two lines again. Gives me hope that even if this isn’t sticky, it’s worth it to try again. But the due date would be right around our anniversary so sticking would be good too!!

thanks ladies. Now to the long week of seeing if it darkens. That has always been indicative for me so I’m not going to bother with betas unless I have to. Cross your fingers

@bhbee: well, I think I have my fingers and toes crossed for you as my dad always tells me when I ask him to keep the faith for me.

Dipping my toes in POAS land again.
Cycle Day: 15
TTC Cycle #: Trying since March 2016 with four months off during that timeframe for work related purposes.
Ovulation: I have no idea. Either today, tomorrow, or Tuesday.
POAS Date: December 16
Baby #: 2; DD is 2 1/2
Your plan: We have been trying for number 2 since DD was 9 months old. I have PCOS, and knew we would have a tough go. We've had two failed clomid cycles during that time frame when we went to get tested again.
DH and I weren't going to actively start trying again until January since I started a new job two months ago, and we've been on a ttc break. But, we pulled the goalie today, and I happened to get a raging positive opk this afternoon. No idea if it would've been positive yesterday or if today is first day of positive. So, we'll see. .
Favorite Fall Activity: Pumpkin everything. Although, it's December so I'm going to go with peppermint everything lol. I love the holidays.

@bhbee: I'm so glad to hear this! What was your BD timing this month? Did you do anything different?
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@crazydoglady: i wish i could tell you we did something “right” but for me it seems to be just keep trying and eventually get lucky. I think we hit something like o-3, o-1, o day but we’ve done that kind of timing plenty of bfn months too. Hoping for another good test tomorrow and then i have to try to wean myself off testing so much.
