Did anyone experience false labor? What was it like?
I'm curious because I had 0 labor pains before I went into actual labor. I wonder what women feel when they go into false labor - is it like the real thing and then it stops? Or is it different?

From friend's experience ... it sounds like it seems like the real thing, then stops. Timeable contractions (maybe a little further apart than the ideal, and not as consistent).

I had false labor for 5 days. It felt like the real thing, because I had never felt the real thing, and then once I felt the real thing, I was like, "Oh, that definitely wasn't the real thing." Ha. But it still hurt horribly - I couldn't sleep. Timeable contractions that were just not close enough together or strong enough to cause dilation.

Exactly like @daniellemybelle: said. They were painful and timeable but not as painful as real labor. Then they just stopped.

i just had it a couple days ago! timeable, regular contractions for about 8 hours, but they never progressed beyond what felt like early labor for DD2. and now there hasn't been anything for the last 3 days! blah.
