I have never had a pair of Hanna Andersson pjs rip and my 6yo rips all his regular pants. Expensive though I know, helps if you have someone to pass to! Also I don’t know which Carters you’re buying, but if it’s the snug fit, I’ve also had luck with the looser fit ones - I think they rip less, maybe they can give more or something? I’m so over buying this kid new pants so I feel your pain!!

My 6yo has gone through the knees of all his snug fit PJs, even a nicer pair of Leveret! The only thing that works for him are the loose fit ones, and for that Carter’s has been just fine. He chews on his knees though and that’s a big source of the problem.

@wrkbrk: This made me laugh. My 5 year old has tears in the knees of all of his regular pants but I haven't seen any tears in the PJs. I wish I could help with recommendations.

My six year old rips holes in the knees of almost every pair of regular pants, but her Hanna Andersson pjs have lasted years - somehow she's fit in the same size for many seasons and they're still in great shape for her little sister.

I actually watched her trip and somehow tear her pants on our baseboard the other day. I still don't understand how that was even possible!

My 6 yo has ripped every single Carter’s PJ bottoms he owns. I bought 4 Hanna Anderson PJs 3 months ago. He managed to wear out one of those in less than a month but customer service was awesome and they replaced it! Since then, knock on wood, no more holes. They definitely hold up better than Carter’s.

@wrkbrk: Oh man I hope my son won't be doing this lol! I have 2 girls and their PJs literally go through 3 girls (I hand them down after my oldest, and they come back for my middle), and they are all still fine (all sorts of brands).
