I travel extensively for work, but I have been able to keep my panic attacks under control by taking a Xanax before every flight. I still feel some anxiety if we hit turbulence, but I can stay pretty relaxed if it's a routine flight.
Now that DH and I are TTC, I don't know what to do. I have 2 back-to-back trips planned next month during my TWW.
I talked to my Dr. and while she advises that I don't take Xanax at all, but if I have a panic attack while flying, I could risk taking one because anxiety could be worse for the baby than a small dose of meds.
I have tried hypnotherapy and regular therapy and have not had good results. Only meds have worked.
Would you risk it? Is there any homeopathic medicine for anxiety that is safe for pregnant women?
