@mrs. bird: I tested this morning with a digital and got a negative. I'm kind of kicking myself for using the wondfo yesterday. I was thinking the digital I had was the same type that picked up my CP when my hcg never went over 6, but it was a different one.
So either it's too soon for a digital, or the test yesterday picked up on the last remnants of the ovulation trigger. I'm only 9DPO, so I'm not out yet. I'll test when I get back to Boston tonight if I can manage a 4 hour hold. If not I'll update tomorrow morning!

Raaaaaaaaawr! I feel like AF is on her way... I get crampy the day after she shows... and that's how I'm feeling today.

Anyone have experience with wondfo OPK? I'm wondering how dark a positive line will be... I've been getting a second line but its very faint.
bananas / 9628 posts
@LindsayInNYC: there was a thread recently with some pics on it you might find helpful = ) the line should be as dark as the other line, lines in the afternoon will be darker too.

@LindsayInNYC: what @mrs. bird said! A positive will be as dark or darker than the control.

Hi ladies, I'm late but can I join? I don't post on here much but am very involved with a group of girls on this site! I already have a May 2012 baby!
Current Cycle Day: CD 14
Ovulation Date: App on my phone says tomorrow, 2/12! This is my first cycle off Nexplanon though so who knows! In the past my body has always done exactly what it's supposed to, right away.
Cycles trying: First since having my Nexplanon removed 1/25
BD timing: Not scheduling anything as of yet since we just started. We did BD last night though and I should be ovulating tomorrow!

Just a wee update from me: AF hasn't returned so I will POAS tomorrow. If negative, I'll consult my acupuncturist and see whether she thinks it's worth me seeing my doctor. I'm still badly bloated

@cram88: Welcome!!
Dudes, I totally can't even bring myself to post a pic. You can see...nothing. Haahahah. Meanwhile I've been Googling, "BFP still possible at 16dpo...right?" Anyway, again, I'll letcha know if anything changes, but I wouldn't keep my fingers crossed...unfortunately!

@SweetMamaM: What day are you on?
I'm on day 32, my period is officially 4 days late but my body is off because this is my 1st cycle off depo.

@littlek: CD33, I though AF had arrived on Saturday although spotty, as I was 14 days after positive OPK. However the following day and subsequent days I have had nothing, not even spotting.
I'm stuck between two unlikely scenarios - a super light PCOS period (when that has never been a symptom of mine) or late O after surge/late implantation as my CD33 morning POAS was neg.

@SweetMamaM: my app for pregnancy week 5 says that 90% of pregnancies at this point have a positive test. SO that could explain yours but you not having AF yet! FX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Ash: @ms.janedoe: Thank you!
@littlek: Yay! I remember seeing you on our board! I'm glad I'm not the only crazy one trying for #2 now
I forgot to say my POAS date... App says to expect period Feb 26th but I'll most likely start testing the 23rd because I'm impatient and because I got my bfp at 3 weeks 3 days last time!

Okay, I'm really trying not to get excited, because today's test is super light again, *but* it's darker than yesterday's! I've been really afraid it was just the HCG trigger causing them to be positive, but the trigger can't cause tests to get darker, they just get lighter. Digital was negative though, but I'm still cautiously optimistic. BTW, I'm 10DPO.
Crappy test pic of the day:

@MrsCB: that's what my dollar tree test looked like. Even lighter and a frer showed up beautifully!!!! Get a frer!!!! And a digital!!!!!!!!

@MrsCB: I really see that one! Get another good test and test. Didn't someone post that a lot will start getting positives after 10DPO

@MrsCB: I totally see a line! This is my first positive on a wondfo--looks very similar to yours! Get an FRER!!

@MrsCB: Digital!!!
I really wish AF would show up so I can try again. This has been weird. My first cycle was like 10 days, and this one is going to be 32+.

I really want to poas for v-day but will only be 8dpo. I'm trying to talk myself out of wasting 4 bucks on a frer. Thoughts?
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@MrsH: I am trying to put my min POAS date at 10DPO. There is a high chance you could get a false negative at 8DPO.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@MrsH: I have no patience so I would definitely POAS if I was you.
Oh so, yesterday, DH goes, I wonder what it would look like if I POAS... men...
watermelon / 14467 posts
@MrsCB: Get a FRER! My first test was super light, and the FRER turned positive in less than 2 minutes (both with FMU).
bananas / 9628 posts
@MrsH: do you have any cheapies you could waste so you don't feel bad if you test too soon? i did stumble upon this last night if you were feeling daring and wanted to use a dollar store one. i have no idea if this is a good idea or not, seems a bit ouchy, but i'd be lying if i said i didn't consider it for a moment! =D

@MrsCB: AHHHHHH!!!! i'm getting to excited for you!! hope it keeps gettin darker & that there's a sticky baby in there for you =)
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@mrs. bird: Holy Cow! That is a crazy idea and I think I might be crazier for thinking about trying!! I would be 8DPO on valentines day too! Any idea about the rate of false positives with that method?
bananas / 9628 posts
@Thehistoryofus: well, i tried looking into it a bit more and it sounds like it might not be that crazy because this site for people working in the ER suggests using whole blood on the test when urine can't be obtained. it says some tests are even approved for this method, which would leave me thinking that ones that don't say they're approved could possibly work, but may not be labeled that way. but then on another site, she used whole blood and thought it could have given as false + but honestly i can't see it. here are links to both

Okay you guys have convinced me to go out and get some FRERs. Should I test today with SMU, or wait until tomorrow?
blogger / pineapple / 12381 posts
@MrsCB: That last one looked pretty convincing. You didn't even need to manipulate it! I think with a more sensitive test you should still see a clear positive. No?
