DS is 9 months old, breastfed and still waking up 1-2x per night to nurse. I am going on a work trip at the end of this week with out him for 3.5 days and 3 nights. I will be at an all day conference each of those days. I plan to do my best to keep up with pumping while I am there - though I anticipate it will be a huge challenge. The bigger issue however is that I think I have just barely enough in the freezer to cover the time I'm away. And if DS eats more than once at night, there won't be enough. To compound the problem I am barely able to pump enough for him to take to daycare so trying to stock up a little extra before isn't a reality.

Should I have DH try and only feed him once at night or try to soothe him without feeding? Buy some formula just in case (he's never had formula)? Something else?
