We just started this week as well! We need to pick up some rubber spoons because shes not a fan of the plastic ones. Small bowls are also helpful because she eats maybe a teaspoon at a sitting right now.

We have the Gerber/NUK baby spoons but there are a variety of brands that are all the same spoon with the soft end (http://www.amazon.com/Gerber-Graduates-Infant-Spoon-Colors/dp/B0018OHCLC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325688916&sr=8-1). I prefer the Skiphop zoo bibs because they are so lightweight that my son doesn't seem to get distracted by them and pull on them like he does with other bibs we've tried (http://www.amazon.com/Skip-Hop-Zoo-Bib-Owl/dp/B004IEBU6C/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1325688978&sr=1-1). We just use the small glad or ziploc storage containers for putting the food in so they can go straight into the fridge if my son doesn't finish the food (http://www.amazon.com/GladWare-Round-4-Ounce-Containers-8-Count/dp/B000EGBLBM/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1325689076&sr=8-11).

We use Nuk spoons that are soft/flexible, although my MIL has some like the Gerber ones in the link above and DS uses those just fine too.
We have a Bjorn bib, which is great at catching food, but the bottom doesn't fit him well if the tray is on the high chair. He'll also try to get to the food in the bottom now and then. I'm going to look for a softer one, like the skip hop one mentioned above.
We use Earth's Best food. I like the pouches they make, but they don't seem worth the extra 50 to 60 cents over the jars. I just haven't had time to make my own and DS is now getting interested in larger chunks of food, so the puree stage wasn't really long enough to warrant buying a baby food maker or food processor.
We have a Space Saver high chair. We started solids when DS was 6 months and couldn't sit up on his own very well, so I wanted the higher back over a booster seat. If I were doing it over again, I'd have gone for the Fisher Care Deluxe Booster since it's smaller and easier to travel with.
We don't use bowls, we just put the food on his high chair tray. I don't plan on getting anything special for bowls, like the suction cup ones, since he should learn that things will spill if you tip them over.
Right now we have a nuk sippy cup with the handles on the sides, but DS isn't a fan. Since we started using the pouches of baby food, he's learned to suck the food out, so I think I'll try a straw sippy in the next couple of months. We don't give him juice, and he still gets a bottle, so we just put water in it for him to play/learn with. I think the nuk ones are hard to get the liquid out of. The openings are small and don't open well, which is good for them not leaking, but not for him to learn to drink out of.

Just to add, I have a few small tupperware containers for when I am mixing purees (DS doesn't like his veggies unless the are disguised with apples and pears) or for when we were giving him oatmeal cereal. (about a 4oz size). Usually I feed him purees out of the pouch or jar, and I just pop them in the fridge when he's done if he hasn't finished it. When we give him puffs, cheerios, or bigger pieces of food we just put them on the tray.

I love love love silicone feeding products. We have the Beaba spoons (long-handle) and Kinderville bowls & cups. I like that silicone doesn't get too hot/cold and that we don't have to worry about BPA.

We started off with Nuk spoons, but now LO uses our spoons (the small ones). She doesn't like "baby" spoons. She's only 9 months old!

I'm not there yet, but a lot of my friends love the Squirt Boon spoon for travel: the food is in the handle and you squeeze a bit onto the spoon at a time: http://www.booninc.com/products/Squirt

Gosh, I bought so much stuff...do you know what we've used the most? Our own regular bowls and teaspoons.

We've been using a lot of the items in the Dr. Browns line:
Snack-a-pillar cups: http://www.amazon.com/Dr-Browns-Designed-Nourish-Snack-A-Pillar/dp/B0052TT6GI/ref=sr_1_35?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1348341160&sr=1-35&keywords=dr.+browns

I was lucky to receive the baby bullet system as well as a hand blender AND a ninja. I also have a blender. If I had to choose only ONE item I would choose the hand blender - it is SO easy to use, clean and take out. The magic bullet system is more tedious so I've found myself reaching for the hand blender more. We have the Hamilton Beach bebe Blender and love it! I also use it for other things - it makes the creamiest guac! A friend has one and uses hers to make frothy coffee

I haven't tried using any sippy cups yet, although we received the Boon cup as a gift and I'm excited to try it:
http://www.amazon.com/Boon-Fluid-Sippy-Raspberry-Tangerine/dp/B004OR1DUG/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1348341548&sr=1-1&keywords=boon+sippy
We also have the plate and utensil set from Boon that I think will be nice when DS is older, for now it's no more special than any other bowl: http://www.amazon.com/Boon-Interlocking-Utensils-Raspberry-Tangerine/dp/B004OR1E3M/ref=sr_1_9?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1348341605&sr=1-9&keywords=boon
And of course we have the adorable owl bowl: http://www.amazon.com/Skip-Hop-Melamine-Plate-Bowl/dp/B004KKXNM8/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1348341874&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=skip+hop+bowl
I want to get a few things for when he's older: clean kanteen cup, perhaps a lolla cup, and the gyro bowl.

We use Avent spoons and bowls and bibs from Ikea. we also have a super cute skip hop zebra bib but liquids soak right through it.
For sippy cups, we have a Nuby and an Avent. The Nuby is definitely easier to use. I also just bought a Munchkin straw cup for LO to use but he just chews on the straw for now.
For food prep, I just use our blender or kitchenaid food processor. I bought silicon ice cube trays from Bed, Bath and Beyond. I also use Vital baby freeze and pop containers.
And last but not least, I just got LO a Munchkin mesh feeder that he really likes. He eats frozen mangoes and peaches with it.

We have the Nuk Gerber graduates rest easy spoons (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12440834) and I love that the spoon doesn't tough a table.
We bought a bowl for home use but usually end up with containers we just bought the Take n Todd plastic ones. I've also fed her using the Vital Babies containers.
For making V's purees I use my hand immersion blender. Mic much easier than a blender IMO. I also just boil or steam the fruits/veggies in a pot with some wilate.
The bib I have is soft and has a pocket for catching but the scoop can be flattened just by unsnapping some snaps.

We have nuk plastic-tipped metal spoons and munchkin soft tip spoons. we use the nuk ones more because they are less deep and easier to get the food out of.
We have a set of the gerber graduates bowls with lids. they have been great. we send them to daycare and use them at home. We also use some of our small tupperware containers when needed. For making food, I just use the blender and it has been fine.
For cups, we tried the playtex starter sippy cups but LO was only interested in chewing the little spouts. we tried a straw cup instead around 7 months and she loved it. we just have the basic playtex insulated ones and no complaints.
