A little update for ya'll... BFN this morning at 11 dpo. AF should have started yesterday (always have a short luteal phase). I am having some very mild spotting today, so I have a feeling that I am out and the witch is on the way. So disappointed.

@travellingbee: I got pregnant extremely easily the first time. I was spoiled. this is my first post weaning cycle and I am indeed pregnant but a big temp drop and some bright red spotting make me think we might be looking at a chemical. I am either 10 or 11DPO today. I posted my faint BFPs on the 6+ board.

@Annette: our cycles are really similar! Cd 25 today and finally got a true positive opk just now. It was alllllmost positive all day yesterday but never got there. I think I'm ovulating tonight or tomorrow.
@MrsMccarthy: fingers crossed the spotting goes away! !

@nicolechris11212: @kelleeleee: Thanks for the support girls. I'm just feeling so bummed. We, too, felt like we did everything "right" this cycle, and there aren't any apparent signs something is wrong. I was really hopeful this would be the one. We're just so ready and eager. Fingers crossed for all of us.

@angelachase: I hate the fact that despite doing everything right it still doesn't happen. It's not fair! It's such a matter of luck no matter what. Fingers crossed your bfp is super soon!!!!

@MrsBrewer: if you don't think you O'd yet then no, I don't think it's too late to start temping, you really only need a couple of days worth of temps before you O.
@Bigskygirl: hopefully you just implanted late! But if not, at least your LP is lengthening. I still have hope for you!
@yellowbird: good luck! Get to BD'ing!

Hi Ladies! Mind if I join? We just started this month TTC baby #2. I have been doing the OPK because I'm impatient My tests have definitely been getting darker and I believe I will O tomorrow, Monday at the latest. So I will be a mid-end of July tester! Good luck to everyone already in the TWW!

@anya: Thanks girl. Some things are just out of our control, I guess. Sometimes I think...all I can do is try my best and put it in God's hands and hope for the best! Thanks for your support

@Anya: Thank you
@MrsMccarthy: I missed your post! Congrats! Do you feel comfortable being updated to the BFPs? Or would you like to wait a little bit? Hope it all works out for you

@MrsMccarthy: Sounds like we are having a similar battle with a short LP, so I am so ecstatic to hear about your pregnancy! I wish you all the luck in the world.
@BlessedMama: Welcome!
@littledove: Sounds more like IB than AF. I hope this is the case? Any updates for us? I still have hope for you!
All: I started taking Femaprin this month and am hoping that it will lengthen my LP and improve my chances of conception. Have any of you ladies tried adding a Vitex/Femaprin supplement? Thoughts?
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@Bigskygirl: I've had a couple short LPs too since weaning and am taking B-complex to see if it helps. Let us know how the Femaprin works!

@MrsMccarthy: thanks. It feels like the first cycle we actually have a shot since I haven't been on antibiotics or anything finally! Although I did have an allergic reaction to food right through O day...we'll see! It would be awesome to be on the march board with you! I know youre more on the other thread but keep us updated on you!

@yellowbird yay!! Getting a positive opk may not be a bfp but it still feels pretty good!
@mrsmccarthy congrats! Hoping your bfp sticks!!
honeydew / 7295 posts
@KelLeeLeee: thank you honey~ I think i will hold out for a digital .
@Bigskygirl: Short LPs suck a duck! All i can recommend is a B complex in addition to prenantal but taken at separate timesso they don't inhibit eachother. i also took vitex. IN my case it may just be weaning that did the trick. I have seen a lot of short LPers get pregnant though. FX!
@googly-eyes: Hooray!!! I will have my FX!
@pinkb: thank you doll!!! hoping to join you!
@ninja: Thanks! when is your EDD? Mine is March 17th if baby sticks. I hope i get to join you.

@MrsMccarthy: same EDD!!! Mine is just based on LMP fwiw, my bfp was a squinter too, so I took a digi as well.

Last night I was having mild cramping and gas and I started to panic that AF is on it's way. It's only 9DPO today and I need it to be 10 at a min. But 11 or 12 would be better!! (Reminder that we won't start trying until next cycle so I'm just hoping to lengthen my luteal phase this cycle!) She hasn't come yet but I'm still worried! Gah it almost feels like a TWW!
honeydew / 7235 posts
@KelLeeLeee: I didn't poas today,but still no AF! I did a test fri night and it was negative and I really think my timing was way off so maybe tomorrow. If I was preg a test should be positive by now.

Ladies my thermometer finally came in so ive been temping and getting some positive opks but the thing Im most excited (ha!) Has been my 4 straight days of nausea. Anyone else get this around o time or should I symptom spot more lol?

Hey guys! Sorry for the delay. I've been in an area with zero cell reception. I did test and got a BFN. My period finally started back up but then only lasted a day. Essentially my AF lasted about two days. I still don't know what to think. It's never started then stopped and its never been this short. Maybe anxiety?
nectarine / 2465 posts
@hellobeeboston: How many dpo are you? At least AF is staying away!
@sunset840: I don't usually get nauseous around O, but I do get bloated/hungry, so maybe this is just how your body deals with the hormones? Good luck!
@littledove: How many dpo were you when you tested? 2 days of AF is strange, but I don't think it's *that* strange, was it full flow or just spotting?

Hi ladies, I am going to wait to see how today pans out and if I still only have brown discharge (that hasn't turned red) I might test tonight.
I was looking back at old cycles in FF and it seems that by now my brown spotting started turning red. I'm starting to wonder if all the exercise I've done lately is pushing off AF...
@msmccarthy -congrats on your bfp!!! Happy thoughts it's a healthy sticky bean!!
honeydew / 7295 posts
Digital has confirmed it! My temp went way up. Things are looking good. 11/12 DPO today.
nectarine / 2465 posts
@Starfish: I don't think exercise would delay your period, it would only affect O, but that's good it hasn't turned bright red yet! Good luck!!
@MrsMccarthy: oh my gosh congrats!!! Praying for a sticky bean and a H & H 9 months!!!

TMI question - does anyone know if green tea increases CM? I switched from coffee to green tea a week ago and today (5 dpo) I have a ton of creamy CM. I know that *could* be an early pregnancy sign, but I don't know if it's the green tea that's increasing it?
nectarine / 2784 posts
@KelLeeLeee: yes! I used green tea (decaf) for a few cycles pre-o to increase cm. The difference was remarkable
Eta: oh but if you are in the TWW yes it could be an early sign as well. FX!
nectarine / 2465 posts
@Anya: boo! That's what I thought, haha, but hopefully it's more than just the green the!
olive / 60 posts
@kelLeeLeee- yes green tea can increase cm! It has in the past for me....though I heard you should stop drinking it in the TWW.....can't remember why though!!
