Cheap OPKs but verifying with digis.

I'm considering using Instead cups because frankly, I'm sick of the ick factor of BDing.

If we conceive this month, my EDD would be March 16...almost St. Patrick's day...and my mom's birthday. I'm thinking that's about the most awesome possible birthday there is

Yay, good luck ladies!!
@KelLeeLeee: I hosted last July's thread, and I unexpectedly got my sticky BFP that month. Hope that this month brings you lots of and a !

Cycle #: 3
Ovulation & POAS dates: O=6/24. POAS=7/6
Baby #: 2
Your game plan this month: Digital OPKs, Preseed, acupuncture, crossing lots of fingers. If we got knocked up this month the baby would be born around DD’s 2nd birthday – not ideal, but with my age we can’t afford to skip a month. Actually joint birthday parties would be easier – c’mon March baby!!!
Good luck everyone!!!

@Tam: So many people get KU the cycle before they seek medical help, hope this is for you!

@KelLeeLeee: When do you put them in? Do you stay in bed or get up and go get one? I think that's the only logistic that's kept me from them.
But dealing with DH's wonky schedule and how often we've started BDing in the morning, I think it might make things a lot easier and cleaner!
nectarine / 2465 posts
@MaryM: I make my husband get it for me and I put it in while lying down. You could also leave it at your bedside if you didn't want to get him involved.

I think I could keep them in the nightstand (I might need to clean it out. there's so much random stuff in there!)...but then I guess I'd have to explain to DH what on earth I'm doing. lol!

@KelLeeLeee: and @septca: Thanks for the input. I had been wondering but didn't want to start yet another thread about it. Y'all made it easy to get the questions answered.

@KelLeeLeee: for some reason fertility friend has me locked out from the app i downloaded for the last month, so i think im just going to revert back to using the website to access it. does anyone use something different?

I used a combo cell app/website for ff, there is also The MyDays app which isn't as nice but still gets the job done.

@sunset840: I use Fertility Friend. I tried a few others but didn't like them as much. I like who FF's chart is easy to read, even if it's not the prettiest.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it? I've had it freeze on me a few times (but not at all lately, that's odd).

Baby #: 1
Your game plan this month: Going a little harder on the "trying" part after 2 cycles that included tons of family stress and travel. Using digital OPKs & Conceive Plus; no alcohol for a while so I can make sure my temps are accurate.
Anybody use the Clearblue advanced digital OPK? This is my first cycle using it and got my first blinking smiley this morning. How many days do those usually last until the solid smiley (peak)?

Hi all! I'm joining.
CD 10
Cycle # lucky 7
Ov & POAS: hopefully in 5 days on the 23rd but possibly as late as the 27th for O/ POAS July 7
Baby #2
Game Plan: This is my first cycle post weaning and I am hoping that plus the conceive plus I bought will make all the difference. We shall see!
Good luck everyone!

Yay! I get to join, too, but I have a much different plan than most of you !
Baby #: 2! LO just turned 1 two weeks ago! She is such a sweetie!
Your game plan this month: IVF! We did this about 2 years ago to have our little girl and we have embryos frozen from then. So we will do a frozen embryo transfer (FET) on July 15th! My first blood test to see if it was a success will be on July 24th.
Wishing everyone much luck!!

Good luck ladies!!!
@GreenThumb: good luck with the iVF!!! And happy belated to your LO

@GreenThumb: happy bday to your LO! good luck with ivf!
@MrsMccarthy: hope weaning does the trick!
@angelachase: I think the box says two days of blinky ones then two days of solid (like it displays the solid for two days straight.) I started late in my cycle and got the solid smiley my first day though so idk about the blinky ones for sure..

@hellobeeboston: it's like Preseed but unlike Preseed it has the added benefit of containing proteins that supposedly keep the spermies alive longer. A lot of women on here seem to be having great success with it so I figured I'll give it a shot.
@GreenThumb: hooray! I hope you have a quick successful IVF and a short stay on here.

I couldn't find preseed last night - out of stock as always so I bought conceive plus. Hopefully it works for us.

@KelLeeLeee: Thanks, I'm really hoping this is the month for us, not looking forward to going to a government hospital to get tested.
