Cycle Day: CD 24
TTC Cycle #: 6
Ovulation and POAS dates: O on 10/26, POAS on 11/9
Baby #: 1!
Your plan this month: OPKs and tons of BDing!
Chart link: n/a
And just for fun... what's your favorite cold weather beverage: I love the salted caramel hot chocolate from Starbucks, but I'm gonna need to try their new chestnut praline latte before I declare a definite favorite!
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
Thanks for starting this. I have been so miserable the past two cycles, I am so glad to have hope again!
Cycle Day: 27 and I should be getting AF any minute
TTC Cycle #: 5
Ovulation and POAS dates: should ovulate around Nov. 4th and POAS on about Nov. 16
Baby #: 2
Your plan this month: We have a hefty plan this month. I am now seeing an RE because I have Diminished Ovarian Reserve and I am old. I mean, Advanced Maternal Age I am starting a monitored clomid and timed intercourse cycle. That means I will go in for blood tests and a baseline ultrasound when I start this cycle, take clomid, get an HSG to check my tubes on cd 6, have a repeat ultrasound on cd11, and BD for three days after surge. Then use progesterone for my luteal phase. Then wait. LOL. Big difference from my days of, "I'll temp and use OPKs"
Chart link: Not really charting this month.
And just for fun... what's your favorite cold weather beverage: Hot chocolate or mocha. It's finally starting to cool down a little here. And when I say cool, I mean a high of 80
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@raspberries: OMG yes. I love the salted caramel mocha. DELISH!!

Love the name!
Cycle Day: 13
TTC Cycle #:2
Ovulation and POAS dates: Not totally sure about O date-- sometime in the next few days! POAS 11/7
Baby #: 2 (DD is a little over 2)
Your plan this month: Still not a plan per se. This is month #2 of TTC #2 and DH is still not quite ready to really "try" (e.g. BDing every day for a week for the sole purpose of getting KU). So I am trying to go with the flow which is not all that easy. ETA that I am trying to encourage BD more than usual during my fertile week (this week!) without being too pushy--so far, seems to be working
Chart link: N/A
And just for fun... what's your favorite cold weather beverage: I like hot apple cider a lot in the fall. And I think November is usually when Starbucks rolls out the gingerbread lattes which is my fave Starbucks seasonal drink!
apricot / 394 posts
Rolling over from October and hoping November has a lot of BFPs!
Cycle Day: 17
TTC Cycle #: 8
Ovulation date: O somewhere between 10/19 and today. POAS on Monday 11/3.
Baby #: 2, we have a 27 month old daughter
Your plan this month: This is my 2nd month of 100 mg clomid. I had my HcG levels checked on day 21 last month and they were only an 8.3. OB was hoping for over a 10. So hoping I have a higher number when checked next week! We are BDing every other day starting on cycle day 9-18. Oh, and trying to relax. I feel like TTC totally consumes me.
Favorite cold weather drink: Caramel Brulee Latte - YUM!
pear / 1881 posts
Cycle Day: 3
TTC Cycle #: 15 (give or take a cycle)
Ovulation and POAS dates: Expecting ovulation date to be 11/5; however, started Letrozole/femara today for the first time, so I'm not sure how that will affect my O date. I'll go with POAS date of 11/18.
Baby #: 2 - DD is 27 months
Your plan this month: First medicated cycle, so this will be interesting. I've had several tests done and all is normal, so we are doing Letrozole for cycle days 3-7 and TI around O. Trying to remain optimistic, but it's frustrating when there is no answer as to what could be wrong or why it's taking so long.
Chart link: I'm horrible at taking temp, so passing on this one
And just for fun... what's your favorite cold weather beverage: Hmm..love Starbucks' salted caramel mocha (decaf) and some other yummy warm drinks from Caribou Coffee.
nectarine / 2994 posts
Cycle Day: 1
TTC Cycle #: 15
Ovulation and POAS dates: Ovulate 9 November and AF due 23 November, I won't POAS until I'm actually late.
Baby #: 2
Your plan this month: Going to ring up and set up an appointment with my doctor and get him to do a referral to a fertility clinic for me. 15 months of trying with one miscarriage is getting too much for me and I want answers. Otherwise will stick to OPKs and lots of bd in fertile week.
Chart link: None
And just for fun... what's your favorite cold weather beverage: Hot chocolate!

@travellingbee: Ahh, that's so exciting! It sounds like your RE has a great plan figured out - fingers crossed for you this time around.
@abmamma: Oh my gosh, I forgot about apple cider - my mom has the best crock pot apple cider recipe!
@Worrywart: I feel you on TTC being all-consuming - it can be SO stressful!
@NorthStar: @MrsStar: Good luck to both of you - here's hoping November is a lucky month!
apricot / 394 posts
@travellingbee: I saw that you are trying Clomid for the first time, and it sounds like you have a great plan in place with your new RE! This is my 3rd time on Clomid. The first two were both successful (first time resulted in MC at 11 weeks, second gave me my beautiful 27 month old Maddie.) I have never had significant side effects. Just a little nausea and some bloating but nothing serious. I have this month and next month to try with Clomid. If those aren't successful, it's time for a visit with a RE for me. I am 34 so I'm getting up there too. I've been following your story and I'm REALLY hoping November is both of our months!!!

TTC Cycle #: 2
Ovulation and POAS dates: O is tomorrow, and I will POAS after 3 days of missed period, so November 9
Baby #: 1
Your plan this month: opks and EOD BD until +, then hit O-1 and O. We are right on track! No other changes, as we did conceive last month, but had a chemical. Hope we get a sticky BFP this month!!!
And just for fun... what's your favorite cold weather beverage: I love the Starbucks Gingerbread Latte! Non-fat, no whip though. I wish they had almond milk as an option!

@Worrywart: If you don't mind me asking, why did they put you on Clomid? Were you not ovulating on your own? I'm ovulating, but they are hoping to overstimulate my ovaries to produce more than one egg. The thinking being that more eggs gives me more of a chance for at least one quality egg. Fingers crossed.
pear / 1788 posts
@raspberries: yay for poas buddies! And yes, I have DD nearby but I never seem to go... Even though I like their coffee! I should check it out now that that have almond milk. Thanks for the tip!

Your plan this month: We just started going EOD yesterday (CD 13), but will start ED on CD 20/21. I am using OPKs and temping. I feel like we have tried too early the last two months, so we will just keep trying till after my temp shoots up.
Favorite Fall Drink: Hot apple cider from an orchard.

O and POAS dates: O on Oct. 27/28 and POAS Nov. 13

Cycle Day: 9
TTC Cycle #: 5
Ovulation and POAS dates: not sure, I guess I'll O around Oct 28 so I'll probably POAS around Nov 11th
Baby #: #2
Your plan this month: just OPKs, no charting (with DS nursing through a cold charting is making no sense...)

@travellingbee: I am on clomid because I don't ovulate strong enough on my own. It has worked twice for me before so I'm hoping third time's the charm as well! I am sending extra baby dust your way this month.

I have been debating whether or not I should join this month. DH is leaving for a work trip tomorrow and O is nowhere in sight so I don't think we are going to have good timing.
Cycle Day: 12
TTC Cycle #: 2
Ovulation and POAS dates: O is expected on 10/27, POAS after my missed AF 11/10.
Baby #: 1

Your plan this month: OPK's, temping, well-timed BD, Yes Baby, pH buffering pills during fertile days. Did all of the above last month and got my first ever BFP...and then CP 3 days later. Hoping I'll get lucky again!
And just for fun... what's your favorite cold weather beverage: Caramel Apple Cider...now if only it would actually "act" like Fall where I live! It shouldn't be 85 the week before Halloween. #socalproblems

Cycle Day: 18
TTC Cycle #: 5
Ovulation and POAS dates: I did or will ovulate somewhere between yesterday and tomorrow. Right now my expected AF date/ POAS date is Nov 3rd.
Baby #: 1
Your plan this month: I've been pretty down this month. I really was expecting to be KU by now. I haven't been eating well, no exersizing, ect. My dH was gone again most of my FW, so we got in this Tuesday and Thursday nights. But I'm not sure when I O'd, because I haven't been able to temp reliably. I didn't get a for sure positive OPK either. I'm taking Vitamin E, Super B complex, airborne, and Prenatals. We used preseed.
Chart link: My DH did an update on my iPad and now the web address is not copying. I'm auggiefrog on FF though.
And just for fun... what's your favorite cold weather beverage: hot chocolate with Irish cream, chia tea latte, tea. I'm already seeing some frost in the morning, so anything that keeps me warm!

I won't be joining the POAS group till next month but I wanted to wish you all tons of baby dust and hope you're all gone next month

My day 2 labs came back. FSH of 10.9. no good. My doctor wants to move right to IUI with injectables but we would have to wait for next cycle because of some medical records we are waiting on. I really want to try clomid this month so I'm supposed to call on Monday and see if i can convince the doctor to still try a monitored clomid cycle this month rather than wAste a cycle. I'm hoping she'll let me. Keep your fingers crossed for us!!!!
pear / 1788 posts
@travellingbee: all my fingers crossed! Clomid with monitoring seems like a totally viable option this month, as opposed to wasting a cycle waiting for iui. Best case it works and you save the money and time, worst case you don't feel like you sat on your hands and threw away a cycle. Best of luck! Keep us posted.

I got my flashing smiley face yesterday morning, but last month I had 8 of the flashing ones before it turned solid. So it still could be awhile before I actually O. I am just excited that the flashing smileys are happening on the same day as last cycle. Hoping that gives me a better idea of when to get busy.
The stress of trying to time it perfectly with school ending is gone since that is no longer an option. Hoping that will allow me to be more relaxed.
@travellingbee: Ick. I hope you get to try this cycle. I hate the feeling of having to waste cycles waiting for something. We have had plenty of those for various reasons.

@travellingbee: Ahhh, hope you convince them to go for clomid - it can't hurt at least!
@MissLace: That's weird... did you use FMU all three times? Maybe it was more diluted on CD18, or something like that? I don't think I've ever had that happen.
