I was on two weeks pelvic rest after surgery, so we were able to try again the next cycle.

Same, 2 weeks pelvic rest and then got the go ahead. We didn't really start trying again until the next cycle, but I ended up ovulating very late because of the surgery and had I known we would've tried that cycle.

@mrs. 64: That's interesting - I think your experience was more common than mine. My doctor told me that I would likely O late or not at all the cycle of my lap. I had surgery on CD10 and ended up O'ing exactly on time on CD18, which I thought was weird. The next cycle (when we started TTC again), I O'ed from my blocked side, and the next I got KU.

@CatchAFallingStar: Was told to wait until I had a period (about 3 weeks) and then we were able to start trying.
