Does your LO ever eat pre-made/store bought baby food?
Can you go back and forth?

We do blw & those baby pouches. P seems to do either just fine.

Good to know, so it's interchangeable...not like formula (or maybe it is after a certain point, I don't know and I'm not willing to find out!)
I may make things on occasion after all..we'll see.

I did both when DS was eating purees. He always ate homemade food when we were home but I took pre-made stuff when we were out. We never had an issue with switching.

We went back and forth a lot because there were certain foods I didn't want to prepare at home (carrots due to nitrates). Completely fine!

DS has only ever had home made foods. We did BLW also. Our situation is a little unique though as we have to be really careful with ingredients and cross-contamination. I know others who can go back and forth with no problems.

We only did homemade food for purees.... but of course as LO got older she started eating store bought food.

Oh yeah. She doesn't care if it's homemade or store-bought. She just eats it.

Yep, we did homemade at home and pouches when out; I think my kids actually prefer the pouches, lol!

There were certain foods that don't make sense to try to make yourself. Like Applesauce. A giant jar of natural applesauce is like $4. A bag of apples are $5-$6 plus you have to peel, slice, bake, puree.

We switched up. I never made things like peas and green beans. She tended to prefer store bought veggies anyway.

Yup! In the beginning I made all of DD's food and brought it in the take-n-toss containers but after a few leak incidents, I just bought a bunch of the Plum Organic food pouches (only when on sale at BrU $10 for 10!). They were a great life saver for outings since they took up less real estate in the diaper bag and I liked PLum Organica because they don't have any additives - just fruit/veggies/grains like I would at home. DD had no problem switching between homemade and pouches.
