@blackbird: I don't, but if my insurance lets me get one, I want to try it this time around! I also have a Freestyle and a PISA.
I've read in reviews that the cups still stick out pretty far from your chest, so you can't really sit at your desk with your door open, pumping. BUT I had many times I had to pump in my car while driving or even pump on airplanes in my seat---and I feel like even gigantic cups would be less notifiable that the huge flange+bottle combo hanging from your books in other traditional pumps.
Please get one and tell me how it goes!

@blackbird: You should totally get it! I really wanted one but didn't find out about them til around 8 months PP and I was only planning to pump for a year, so it didn't seem worth it. They look really cool, though. I could've pumped during my commute.

I used freemie cups with my medela pump and it changed my world!! Only way I'll pump!

@gotkimchi: how far did they stick out from your chest? Did you ever have to pump in your car or anywhere kind of "public" and was it more discreet?

One of my coworkers has these. She uses them on her way to work in the morning and will empty them once she gets in. She says they work great, but they definitely make her look like she has giant boobs. It's been winter, so with her winter coat and scarf, no one can tell she's using them when she walks into the building.
I want to try them, but it looks like they only come in 25mm and up. I use 21mm flanges with my Medela, so I'm thinking these would be uncomfortable and not work well for me?

@blackbird: They actually don't look noticeable at all in this video...but she has way smaller boobs than me.

@Anagram: Well i definitely can't sit at my desk since I work in a cube farm, plus the noise of the pump is too much, but it might make pumping around the house and in the mother's room (provided all goes well this time) much easier, too! Since I'm already a G cup or so, I'm pretty self conscious about them just being out and about. I already have giant boobs so whatever. I could easily throw a light infinity scarf on to cover it if I had to, good idea.
@gotkimchi: Yes it's compatible with my Medela! But not my Freestyle. It would be nice to leave one at work and not have to lug it around. I feel like I"ll end up with a million pumps by the time it's all said and done, LOL

@Anagram: I pumped in my car to and from work every single day! They do stick out but Ive walked into work with then in my sweater and no one has noticed. People dont pay too much attention. I also pumped at a dinner table for a bachelorette party and no one noticed! So I've used them all over

@blackbird: I would have killed to leave one at work! I hated lugging that thing back and forth

@gotkimchi: Wow that's nuts! The sound isn't a giant tip off? heh. I feel like all my pumps just sound like the world's loudest frogs.

@Anagram: I have them. I can take a pic tonight!
Here was the review I wrote when I used them for a trip away from baby that didn't really allow the time to pump in private, "I just spent 4 days without baby and for me they won't replace the horns but they are better in obvious situations where the horns wouldn't be practical.
We were snowmobiling so when we'd stop to warm up, I'd pump, so I pumped at several restaurants/bars etc. I was in snowmobiling gear so you couldn't tell the extra bulge and the restaurants were loud enough to cover most of the sound of my PISA.
I loved that they were so discrete, I could get hooked up and pump while in a restaurant, but until I started taking them apart and making sure they were on perfectly (because they arent clear so you can't see if the nipple is pulled in correctly or if you let down) they didn't work well. Also I had to use a pumping bra over them to ensure they were tight enough without it they were not working well.
My output was less than with the horns but not by much.
I ended up using them all day and just using horns every night before bed, a motn session and an am session and I felt it was a good balance. I felt like although I pumped less with the freemie it wasn't enough to drop my supply."
