So i realize this isn't very common, as many women don't have excess milk at first, but i pumped a TON of milk my first night after LO was born, and ended up freezing a lot of it since she wasn't on bottles yet. It's more yellow than the normal milk, so i'd say it's mixed milk/colostrum, and and i froze it in two bags of around 6 oz each. I have been cycling through old frozen milk but haven't defrosted that milk because i'm not sure how to use it.
SO, can i use that milk? should i mix it with current milk? or should i save it and use it in purees when she's on solids or something? or should i just throw it out? the colostrum aspect throws me off, is there any harm in her getting colostrum mixed with her milk at 3 months?
