my LO is almost 4 and while he knows how to count (well, kinda), he needs a lot of help in recognizing the actual numerals. like, seeing "1" and knowing it's 1.
any suggestions on games or apps that i could use to help him out?

@Bao: thanks! i'd heard about endless alphabet but not the numbers version, i'm going to check it out right now.

@edelweiss: we have an easel with a whiteboard and chalkboard and we started by writing out 1 to 10 and then having LO copy it and then read them out to her and have her repeat it. I found that she learnt it better that way than from any app.
However abc mouse is also useful but you pay monthly -
Monkey Math helps with number recognition and basic math skills.
