Life Factory! A little pricey but great bottles that held up well with two LOs. You can also use a sippy adaptor to continue using it afterwards.

I have one Life Factory and hate it. The nipple is weird and it leaks all the time. Plus they are really expensive at ~$15 each.

Regardless of what you choose, I would buy one or two of several types to try before investing in a lot. Some babies are very picky about bottles and nipples.

I didn't BF but my friend did. We both used Dr Browns and have loved them.

We used Dr Brown's glass. Daycare was skeptical about then at first, but they worked out fine.

We have only tried one brand but that is Evenflo. I quite like them and I also bought the silicone sleeves from Amazon which can stay on forever and make them easier to hold. I like the Evenflo nipple size options and that they are also easy to find in stores in my rural area and do not contain more parts than necessary.

Dr Browns. They are great for BF babies. I bought a bunch of LifeFactory and my baby didn't like the bottle nipple, so I sold them all. Dr Browns can be annoying to clean (a number of parts), but the vent in there is awesome for reducing the air they swallow, and they are some of the cheapest glass bottles around. I loved them!

Also, the Browns nipples work with medela bottles, which is what we we were given for me to pump with at the NICU, so that's come in really handy at times.

@meadow: The opening is normal and not any smaller than a regular bottle. I left the silicone sleeve on the bottle and never took it off. I made the mistake of taking off the silicone sleeve off of the adult water bottles, and it was a pain to get back on.

We love the joovy boob bottles! Less parts to clean.

I didn't use glass, but my favourite bottles were the Avent ones. WE had pretty pink ones!

Evenflo is super cheap and simple and easy to use find in stores (our Walmart had them). Also fit perfectly on my medela pump to pump directly in them. I had a couple life factory which I also really liked but were much pricier.

Sorry to sidetrack this convo, but would anyone who uses glass Avent bottles like a silicone sleeve (4oz size)? We just gave our glass bottles to a friend and she's having a boy so I kept it. It's pink free to a good home. I was actually about to post on classifieds but figured I would check here first when I saw this thread.

I use pigeon glass bottles, they fit directly onto the medela pump connector so I can pump directly into them.

We have a few Avent Naturals, a few Evenflows, and a few Born Frees. So far we pretty much only use the Avents. The Evenflows feel a little flimsy to me (the caps), and LO couldn't get anything out of the Born (which I haven't taken the time to trouble shoot yet).

@Mrs. Lion: Is it for the Natural or the Classic? If it's the former, I'll take it.

@meadow: yes, you can leave the sleeve on bottles in the dishwasher (top rack only).
