I load up the spoon and she grabs it from me, flips it around, puts the wrong end in her mouth, and flings the loaded part of the spoon around so food flies everywhere. We have to wash and clean the entire high chair every night.

Offering her foods that don't require a spoon means she rubs all of the little bits all over the surface of the high chair, and then drops all the pieces next to her so they get ground into the corners of the seat.

She has avocado on her nose right now.
