Ooh! I'm interested too! I'm planning on one as well but will be the first in my circle to do it.

It'll be an option but I'm not sold on it over a birthing stool.

I'm sure I'll definitely be using it for labor though! I can't wait for the time to come for us to order ours and then get it all set up!

I didn't, but I did sit in the tub during early labor. I have to be honest, I thought it would help a lot more with the pain then it did. Maybe I'm just extra wimpy.

I agree with @Artbee, I expected more from the tub. I labored in a hot shower for about an hour while a birthing tub was being sanitized and once I actually got into the tub, I was really disappointed because it didn't ease the pain any more than the hot shower did. That and I couldn't really find a comfortable position in the tub. In any case, I didn't actually deliver in the tub 'cause my water broke in it and there was too much meconium in the tub so I had to get out.

I spent most of my labor in a tub, but my hospital didn't allow staying in for the actual birth...I think I would have loved it though. Labor was much easier for me in the water than out!
