She may only be 7 months old but we always give her a chip (that's what we call them) to hold and gum when we're eating out.

Yep, we gave her a little piece of one when we were out once. Not a daily occurrence!

Yep! She had her first one at 9 months or so. I swear she isn't my kid, she wasn't impressed.

Yes! He loves to dip them in ketchup and it is too cute to stop him...oops

Yes. My MIL gave her fries last month at a restaurant....and then I stole them back right away

Not yet, but if he's like his mama, he'll LOVE them. He's 7 months right now.

Yup. We walked to Burger King a few nights ago and she kept reaching up to grab them. Her dinner was mostly those and cuties tangerines (not healthy, but it's okay once in a while).

Nope. I wouldn't be opposed to her trying them, but I generally wait until she asks with "junk" foods, and she hasn't yet. If she's like her mama, she'll be a fan!

Toddler yes, and he doesn't like them! Baby yes, and her fave!
uhh... I just realized I labeled my Preschooler as a Toddler and my Toddler as a Baby.

@Smurfette: Give it some time. I think i offered her a fry when she was 11 months and she didn't like it. Now at 22 months? Gimme, gimme, gimme!

Yes. She loves them. She also thinks roasted sweet potatoes are French fries.
eggplant / 11287 posts
Yes, of course! I think she started eating them around 8 months.

Yes, he has them occasionally. We don't get fast food often, unless we're traveling, so it's a treat when we do.

14 months and no, but I don't know that she's even had a chance to have them... I don't even remembering having a french fry in the last year! That makes me so sad! Haha (Now craving french fries...)

Yep, but he hates ketchup and bbq sauce. We've tried both with other food items. No dice with him. I gave him a piece of pickle the other night and he gave me the "woman, what is this?" look and spit it out.

Yes, some nights or lunches they are a total lifesaver for me. I prefer to bake the sweet potato fries for him, but we do fast food without much shame.

I've given her one of mine to try a few times. She always takes one bite, throws the rest down and gives it the side eye.

@hilsy85: D's first was shake shack, too! Just a couple of weeks ago.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: ok so, I got tempted after your IG shot of homemade fries the other day, so I made them that night and LO and I SMASHED on those puppies. YUM.
Yes LO loves him some Micky D's fries and homemade fries, but never those thick steak fries. I think he thinks they're too dry.

@mrs. wagon: they're growing up so fast!
Yup, toddler C had them for the first time around 1 year, I think? I've had tons of fries during this pregnancy, so in a way, Fetus Cletus has had some, too
