It happened to me for the first time today and I must have pumped hundreds.... thousands? of times in my life!
I always pump while working at my desk so I don't pay attention. I must have leaned forward too much and the milk went into the tubes!
Has that ever happened to you?

Hmm, I used an Ameda so this wasn't possible! Is it easy to clean the tubes?

Every. Single. Time. I. Pump. It is infuriating and one of the reasons I don't recommend the Medela pumps anymore. I've heard that Purely Yours can't get milk in the tubes.

Yeah it splatters in there all the time, I usually rinse my tubes each time and try to boil them weekly, or monthly depending on how often I'm pumping

I never did with DD and I BF for a year. I used a PIS. I have a Freestyle for this baby and I hope it doesn't happen.

yes! especially when i wasn't paying attention and the milk overflowed. i used to squeeze drops of rubbing alcohol into the tubes and let the pump run to dry the liquid out.

Never had that happen with DD but was using a Lansinoh so it can't happen. Have a PISA this time and so far lucky enough to not have this happen.

I never got milk in there but I would get condensation. It was easy to air that out though. I called Medela once cause I accidentally sterilized the tubes and they sent me new ones right away!
