Have you ever purchased boxed bras?

When I was pregnant with Mavrick, I got nursing bras from the maternity store. Nothing fit great, but I figured I just had to deal with it.

I know many talked about the Medela nursing bras, but I didn't want to spend more money seeing I had gotten some. Then I saw a huge sale on boxed nursing bras and decided to try them out.

OMG... this wonderbra baby love is beyond comfortable.

I don't think ive ever seen boxed bras.

I only bought boxed bras when LO was born and these are the ones I bought! Super comfy!

@artbee: Really? I'm sure they sell some at big departement stores. I got mine at Sears. for 45% off!

@blushink: I wasn't even a DD pre-pregnancy! F pre-pregnancy, H at 22 weeks, god knows how much bigger they will grow (or have already grown by now at 30 weeks), I actually just bought nursing bras at 22 weeks because they accommodate more size fluctuation. I don't have any pain issues from them though (although I have always worn really high quality, well fit bras so I think that helps!)

@artbee Don't worry. I shop a *lot*, and I'm still confused at what a boxed bra is.

Is it just that they come in a box instead of a hanger on the rack? What makes them different?

Are the boxed bras like the 18 hour bras by Playtex?

They're usually sold in places like Walmart and back in the day, Caldors and Bradlees.

I don't think I've ever heard of them either, but if I think about it I guess I've seen those 18 hour bras in boxes at Walmart. No, I've never bought one.

@joyjoy: @looch: Boxed bras are sold at WalMart, Kmart, Sears (im in Canada so I'm trying to think about US stores) maybe target?

Here in Canada we have many brands.
Vogue, WonderBra, Platex, Hanes, and store brands.

I guess it's similar to the 18 hour bras.... but maybe "prettier"

@blushink: I went and tried one of the bras that you bought blushink... I didn't buy it because Sears didn't have it on sale. And they only had the underwire one. However The Bay had both, and they might be on sale this weekend, so I'll probably go back and buy one of each! I liked the colour of the one I tried on today, such a pretty light pink!

I have bought a "boxed" medela bra. I first went to the mom store and tried it on though. I purchased a second one from BBB when they had a sale. I wear them every day still.
