I didn't even know they did conferences for preschoolers, but we have our first one for LO tonight. I'm curious to talk more about how she is doing since we don't chat with her teachers more than how she was that day.
Have you had conferences for your LO yet this year? How did they go?

Yup! I was relieved because the teacher seemed to make all the same observations I make of my dd, in terms of her strengths/weaknesses/goals to work on.

Yes, I LOVE conferences in general. I love hearing about that side of my kids. Both are in preschool still.

Yup. We just had one last week. It was good to hear more about what they're working on in preschool (we see the papers that come home but don't always understand what it takes for each little project) and we got to hear more about what her teacher thinks are areas to work on for emotional growth. It was good to get an outside perspective! This was very different than what we chat about on a day to day basis with the assistant teacher.

Yes, we had them after the first 6 weeks (almost done with second 6 weeks now). It was a 30 minute conference. I love her teacher. I'll have one at daycare in two weeks for the one year old.

Yes and my son is only 2! We had a special meeting about his behavior.. He is pretty dangerous and not afraid of getting hurt so the teachers are always scrambling to keep him safe. Doctor said nothing we can do - he is 2!

We have one on friday but they only do morning appts and dh and I can't get the a.m. off and the teacher wont stay late

Tomorrow afternoon! I have to work from home because the kids get out at noon. I had no idea they had parent teacher conferences for preschool but I'm excited about it.
