My middle school home economics teacher is on my facebook. She was probably my favorite teacher. When she requested me I was thrilled, lol.

I did have my 7th grade English teacher on there, too, but she passed away from cancer a couple years ago.

I grew up in a small town, so all the teachers remember the students and everyone was close outside of school.

Yep, several are my Facebook friends now. When I was a senior in high school, one of my "classes" was to go to the elementary school and shadow a teacher. I got assigned my kindergarten teacher from 12 years before and thats how indecided I wanted to teach! I live in a small town, so my mom is still friends with lots of them.

I'm a teacher and keep in touch closely with one student. I had him in preschool & in first grade. He's getting ready to enter 5th now. We write letters (I moved after his 1st grade year), I chat with him mom through Facebook and we met up a few months ago when he was in a national competition being held in my town. I love that little man!

my kindergarten teacher is my parents neighbor, i see her walking her dog sometimes when i'm home and say hi. i am FB friends with my math teacher from HS, which is funny bc math was always drama for me. she was also my SAT tutor and I went to her house weekly.
