@looch: @mrs. wagon: which suit are you talking about? I finally tried on my stuff and everything is too big! Did they change their sizing this year? I just called them to do an exchange. Bummed because we are going to the pool today and I wanted to wear some new stuff.

@looch: I love tummy holding action, and the boob control, but since I'm the opposite of you (pear vs. apple!) I'm afraid it's gonna make me look squat. Do you know if they usually carry this style in the store? Gonna try to get out there today!
I'm wondering if their other more typical bandeau-style suits with the same ruching might look better on me.

@looch: OK so I ordered the suit and I kind of love it! Question though.. It doesn't feel like it's sucking me in at all. I feel quite jiggly in it. Do you think I should go a size down?

I got a fugly maternity tankini from Target. Their maternity swimsuits are not cute... but neither am I right now.

I'm about to order $500 worth of suits from Zappos to try on and return the ones I don't like.
It's so hard finding a good suit for my post-baby body. I hate my smooshy tummy, and my boobs are so droopy. Maybe I'll get one of those full body suits the olympic swimmers wear!

My sister bought her one piece from Boden online... in the girl's section! She went for a size 14/16 and you can't tell it's made for kids. It was less than $30 with free shipping and free return. So of course I bought one for myself, but I already outgrew it with my pregnant baby belly
I did borrow her tankini from Boden, and it still worked with my bump.

I got my first tankini for my pregnant belly. Its not a maternity bathing suit but it works better than the maternity ones I tried on. I had a one piece that I already owned but it was a pain yoinking it up and down for the 100 times using the bathroom and the shoulder straps started really digging in as my tummy grew.

I got a new bikini from target last week. I don't mind letting my pregnant belly out! We actually just took a picture yesterday of my belly with my uncles' big beach bellies...it's hilarious.

I will just wear the tankini I bought for our babymoon to Disney! This thread does make me a little sad---I need a pool to go in! I have been spending most of my time inside with my 5 week old!

@autumnlove: yes!! I would order one size down, or maybe even two. I got one size down from my normal dress size in most stores (not sure what size I'd be in jcrew dresses) and it fits well.. But I think I could go another size down.

No, but I really need to get one! I loved Mrs. Bee's idea of wearing a rash guard. DD is always pulling at my swimsuit and threatening to expose me! I need something that looks good but will stay put.
