Yes, all from the infant room: hit himself with a toy; fell off a chair; slipped and bumped head.

We've probably had five or six. All self inflicted bumps and bruises from falling or smacking herself in the face with a toy.

Yep! She scratches herself all the time, had like 4 of those. Then yesterday got one cause they have to write up she had a fever.

Only 1: lost balance and fell; bit lip. It happened at 3:30 and when I picked her up at 5 I couldn't tell anything had happened at all, so it wasn't serious at all.

We had 3 the first week he started at his new daycare at 7/8 months. To be fair, he was learning to crawl and kept falling.

Only one, when he and a friend where running and he hit his head on the table. It's my understanding that in that situation, they have to call the parents.

Yep...Fell off this, fell off that, tripped, etc. The two worst ones was when she needed stitches and when she bit someone

Yep, lots unfortunately, he's clumsy and a biter. LO is a biter and he has an incident report a few a month. His biting has gotten better but we apparantly still have work to do.

I feel like I'm always signing these for one or the other! They either fall down, hit their head, or another baby scratched them. I've never signed ones where my LOs hurt someone else though - but maybe they just don't tell me when that happens?

Too many. He likes to run and his feet can't always keep up... He has been bitten a few times, bit another kid once (I don't think it was with malicious intent, just teething). He's had numerous scratches from other kids, scraped knees from falling outside.

Um I have probably 25+ from biting incidents (aka her being bitten).
Only a handful (less then 10) have been from her getting hurt.

So far no. She is 10 mos and been in dacare since 7 weeks and so far nothing.
I had to laugh...a couple months ago one of the other moms of twins was picking up her kids.
She had two reports. One that said "Baby A hit another child".....the other report said "Another Child hit baby B".
The mom laughed because obviously it was her twins beating up on each other but the Daycare still has to be official and write it up and they DONT give the name of the child who caused the accident if another child was involved but obviously it was clear here.

Uh seriously? I'm shocked at everyone who says none or one or a few... We get them ALL the time!! We probably got one once a week for a while! Usually trip and fall or fall off chair... When there's a scratch or bite we get a call too.

Yep, we got two in one day this past summer (one bite, one fall). Plus, she was drenched by a hose or sprinkler the same day thanks to one of the bigger kids from another class. She had a rough day!

We've had 2 or 3. The first was that she scratched someone and needed her nails trimmed. The other two were being bitten by another kid. They always say something like "While playing, one of E's friends bit her" Nice friend!

Yes, we have a whole ton of them. They are in her memento box. We went through a horrible biting phase with her getting bitten frequently and a few of her biting others. We also have lots of falls with scratches and red marks.

Just 1 in 7 months - he fell and scraped his face on the carpet, he had the tiniest little spot of rug burn.

@mrs. wagon: yea I am shocked so many here only have one or two. Now that she's two it seems to be better because she doesn't get hurt as often and there is less biting.

yes, they reported every little scrape or fall. there have also been a few times where she's come down with a fever while there and that requires an incident report as well.

@mrs. wagon: we have a ton.... At least 10 (5 of those are bites, the rest are self-inflicted injuries).
