Interesting! The wood and silver ones are cute!
I would hate to buy it and then LO not use it. We had an issue with DS only eating off silver spoons so all the other materials we initially purchased were wasted.

Interesting idea but I think bottom line new eaters are messy no matter the utensils. Also as @anbanan15: said babies can be picky and you would hate to spend a lot of money on something they won't even use. We went with the run of the mill multi pack rubber tipped spoons and they worked just fine. Also it was good to have a lot in hand for different foods, when they ended up on the floor etc.

Interesting..
I have noticed that the little munchkin spoons we use are too deep for my son.
I don't think I'd spend the extra money especially since they grow up so quickly.

They're pretty. Especially the silver one. But too $$$ for me.

I guess I don't get it??!
I don't see the draw if it's not a spoon he'll use as a toddler - and that spoon looks like it's designed only for infants on purees.

Meh not impressive. They look too long for LO to use himself anyways; I can't imagine you'd use it very long even if you did watery purees and spoon fed.

@Mrs. Pen: @scg00387: agree. Seems a bit much for something that will get used for what, a month?

Meh. It's cute, but I just picked up two spoons for 3$ on target clearance. I'll stick to those

Looks like a gimmick to me, too. It's a spoon. Not something I feel like I need to be state of the art.

I think Tommee Tippee makes a similar spoon?

I think they look pretty dang similar to my Tommee Tippee ones I get at the grocery store in packs of 6 for like $5.

We have the munchkin 6 pack which was about 5 bucks and LO loves them. I couldn't justify that price for spoons!

@beachbee: we have those too, and my LO loves them.
I mean, it's a good gimmick. Marketing to the right crowd too- the blogging mommy who only buys organic and who would never want a piece of latex or silicone to pass through the lips of their darling dumpling. At the end of the day. I think just like those $20 sippy cups, we are all going to end up with the 3 for $5 cheap ones from the grocery store.

we just used the soft tip gerber ones..they were shallow enough that she gets all of the food, and they worked.
those are pretty aesthetically pleasing..but the price is not.

I don't really get the point - it says it's better because these spoons work with the same latching reflex the baby is used to doing for breast/bottle feeding. But isn't lessening that reflex and learning to properly take and swallow food supposed to be part of the process of starting solids? My LO is 3 months and not on solids yet, but I know I've read that one of the signs that they're ready for them is supposed to be them starting to lose that reflex.

@Pink Champagne: Haha, your post made me laugh. Darling dumpling. Is that anything like a speshul snowflake?

Haha read more on the about page.. Solving a primary stress point?? I've never heard of anyone stressing over their spoon design or messy baby... Kids are messy, period.
