I know you're not supposed to heat BM for bottles. But if I'm using it to thin out solids, is that OK? Does anyone know?
ETA: sorry! I meant more like heat in a pot almost to boiling.

I heated BM for bottles and solids by using a bottle warmer or just a bowl of super hot water.

I don't understand why you would want to? I don't often thin out solids, but when I do I just use cold tap water and microwave the food itself first. But usually we just give DS cold food

@regberadaisy: It should be fine, it may lose a small amount of nutritional properties but not enough to fret about in tiny quantities.

@Mrs.Someone: just to thin out some thicker items like avocados and banana. I make my own purées although we'll be moving to BLW soon. And I have a stray few ounces that I froze in cubes.
@Cole: that's what I'm thinking too. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't any other reasons I didn't know of!
