I'm back from luck, almost appointment time.

I was up from 12;45-4:15 this morning with a 13 month old who is in the throws of some kind of sleep regression. I somehow made it to te gym this morning but plan on staying in pjs and lounging for the rest of the day and praying for a super long nap...for her and for me!

First day of Christmas break. We had our new kitchen appliances delivered & countertops will be installed tomorrow. It has been an adventure getting the new fridge to fit even though we measured the space several times. Hopefully things will go more smoothly tomorrow.

@jhd: WOOHOO!! We didn't mess around. Went to Lowes to physically measured the fridge then added like 2" on either side and more on the back.
P.S. Let me know if you have any questions. We did a gut reno of our kitchen and DH did basically everything. I'm also an architect although not residential. -
@Bao: if we didn't do it now we probably wouldn't be able to for a while. we got a new fridge, stove, sink & countertops. hoping we can paint or stain the cabinets in spring or summer. they need some updating too!

@locavore_mama: we measured our space & the fridge several times but somehow it was still a tighter fit than i expected. and for some reason the whole thing today just got me all stressed. dumb pregnancy hormones!

@T.H.O.U.: Several years ago, I have shopped on Dec 24 and wrapped presents until 3:00am too. I said I would never do that again. If I can not find a good gift, I will gladly get a gift card now.

Whew, I had planned for a busy day today, but it got crazy busy today! Mostly good things, though...just a lot going on! Christmas is exhausting!

Huge victory for us today - LB has kept his prednisone down for 10 minutes and counting, it looks like we could go home from the hospital tomorrow!

DD had a weight check today and successfully plumped up from last week. Tonight we're doing the usual routine of whatever we can to keep DD content while we sneak in naps (she's 3 weeks).
