I thought we would co-sleep until a year, or at the very minimum 6 months. I adored it in the newborn days. DS is 4 months old today, and I came to a conclusion this morning: it ain't workin.

We wake each other up all.night.long. Its a vicious cycle of him waking up to nurse, getting in bed from the co-sleeper sidecar, me falling asleep nursing, and me waking him up AGAIN if I shift even a little in my sleep...because I fell asleep without putting him back in the co-sleeper. So we nurse again. Did I mention my husband works nights so I do this solo? So, yeah. I'm dying here.

I know some pedis recommend 6 months, but I think we'd all be better off if we were actually getting some sleep in our own rooms. Anybody else stop co-sleeping earlier than they thought? Give me a little nudge
