ETA: The PB crib is not available after all, so this was a false alarm:( Thanks for trying though!

I have been in love with the PB Larkin sleigh crib basically since I was born. I am a big PB fan, and we have a lot of furniture from there that is beautiful, sturdy, and has held up really well. Well, as soon as I become pregnant, PB discontinued the Larkin, and I was pretty devastated that it was no longer available.

I really like a set from Buy Buy Baby called the Davenport, and after mourning the loss of the PB crib being unattainable, DH and I are planning on buy the set in a couple of weeks. BBB sent us each coupons for 20% off an item, and so we were going to use it on the crib and the big dresser/changing table combo.

Well after whining about the Larkin on here, Mrs.Bird rocked my world by letting me know the Larkin is BACK! It's $699, for a limited time only. With a stupid $100 delivery charge.

Okay, so my question is this...Do I go for the more expensive crib that I've been in love with? As far as matching pieces go, I really wouldn't want to spend a ton on the matching PB pieces, so we'd be looking at either Craigslist for the matching pieces (which I do see from time to time) or doing something else.

Or do I stick with the still beautiful but more economical BBB Davenport set? The crib is $650, but with the coupon it's $520. The dresser/hutch/changing table is $1100 but after the coupon it's $880. So total for the set before tax is $1400.

So here's the Larkin:

And here's the Davenport (I just want crib and the thing with the teddy bear on it):

What do you think? I wonder how hard it would be to find pieces that would match the PB crib but were not PB....
