Trying to figure out how much to give our nanny as her holiday bonus. She's been with us for seven months and she's great.
How much is everyone giving and what percentage is that of her regular salary (weekly or monthly)?

We are in a nanny share and last year each family gave $250 which is about 75% of her weekly paycheck.

One week's pay + an extra $100 for every year after year 1 that she's worked for us. She's been with us for 3 years, so we'll give her an extra $200, and she gets the week between Xmas and New Year's off.

I often received one weeks pay. One family was going on a 2 week vacation over the holidays so in addition to time off (that was usually unpaid) they went ahead and gave me 2 weeks pay. So so sweet!

At least one week's pay. That way, between vacation time and the bonus, she'll be covered for most of our holiday travels.
