I had an in-depth ultrasound to possibly diagnosis PCOS yesterday.... I'll find out the official results next Wednesday. I'm trying to remain optimistic. Based on my un-informed eye, I have one normal looking ovary with a significant follicle; and one ovary with some cysts. The US tech left up the measurements on the screen and they seems pretty normal - lining ok, uterus normal, one ovary normal size, one ovary slightly bigger than average (maybe due to cysts?).
My OPKs and fertility monitor all say low, but I had a little EWCM last night and my cervix is definitely getting higher. FX that I'll ovulate sometime soon! Before day 20 would be awesome for me....

@DesertDreams88: I just relied on cm when we travelled.
@figaro12: Welcome.

I am on cd 8 and waiting patiently for O. With the uncertainty of what my cycle is going to do this month it feels like its taking forever.
@Aprilfool I am updating my dates. Hoping to POAS my 4/30. If no O I will change it again.

Finally got a "high" reading on my fertility monitor and a positive OPK today, on CD15! If I O sometime in the next couple of days, it will be my earliest ovulation date since my miscarriage and quitting B complex. Also, weekend BD is so much easier Here's to hoping!

Cycle Day: I'm on Cycle Day 5 right now.
TTC Cycle #: 1. I got off birth control pills in early Feb, and the first cycle ended with spotting, the second ended with a 5 day period. I was so excited because I've been on birth control since I was 15 (for irregular periods) and was scared I might not ovulate on my own. But I've had a lot of health issues including hypothyroidism (treated now) and a history of anorexia (currently in remission). All my friends thought I was crazy for being excited about menstruation XD
Ovulation and POAS dates: Erm, no idea. I'm using a Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor and Wondo's OPK sticks.
Baby #: 1
Your plan this month: To not get fired. Work has been stressful Also, random but I want to get back to writing fiction. The plan is to BD at least once during high fertility and once during peak. I have had several hip preservation surgeries and have a genetic disorder, EDS (I produce defective collagen), so that makes it hard to have sex. I enjoy it, but my hip pain flares up shortly afterwards >_> I'm still young so I don't mind if it takes a few months Nice to meet you ladies ^^

@DesertDreams88: Cmon O! And weekend BD is seriously easier!! Yay for nap time!
@thepaperbutterfly: Welcome to the boards The things you get excited about when TTC are kinda funny.

@thepaperbutterfly: Welcome! What kind of fiction do you write? Writing sounds like a good idea, especially with all of the job stress.
@DesertDreams88: Hooray! Have fun BDing!
I think I O'd either Friday or Saturday, but FF will probably give me a Friday O date when I temp tomorrow (assuming my temp is higher than today). So I guess I'm in the TWW. We are going to BD once more tonight just to be safe though. With work, easter, and my birthday all coming up during this TWW I'm hoping that it will go by quickly.

I'll be joining after I get AF. This cycle has been a failed IUI cycle and I think we'll try one more before moving on.
TTC cycle: 10, I think?
This month: probably clomid 50mg, trigger, IUI, progesterone
OVulation day: not sure yet, but around 4/14 and POAS around 4/24
Baby #2
Eta: oh and for Easter my family is coming over here for dinner and an egg hunt

@auggiefrog: I was hoping with how busy these few weeks were the tww would fly but it is dragging!
grape / 98 posts
@AUGGIEFROG: I write mostly literature. Trying to get a short story published in literature magazines right now. I'm a retail pharmacist, and I enjoy it, but it's very stressful. I guess you could say writing is my passion and pharmacy is my day-job. I got a new Japanese BBT off Amazon, and I just got it today ^^ The instructions are in Japanese, but my husband speaks fluent Japanese so it's not a problem XD

Please take me off the POAS calendar. Letrozole didn't work this month and won't ovulate this month.
Good luck to you all! I hope for a lot of BFPs in April!!!
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
Ok so officially I am on cd 1 and should O around 4/14 and POAS 4/24. You can add me to the list.
kiwi / 631 posts
@AprilFool: I know! It always drags even when you don't mean it too.
@thepaperbutterfly: That's cool that you write literature. GL getting your story published. How cool that your DH can read Japanese!
@sheskrafty: Sorry to hear that. Hugs.
@travellingbee: Hooray! FX to you this cycle!
So I got my crosshairs on FF. It has me down for Friday, but I think more likely I O'd Saturday morning. We did more BDing this cycle than we have in a while, so I hope our hard work paid off. TWW here I come!

Hi ladies! Excited to join in.
Cycle Day: 17
TTC Cycle #: 1st!
Ovulation and POAS dates: O: 3/29 POAS: Idk? You all tell me? Haha R was a welcomed surprise so I'm new at this. Basically, I want to do it ASAP as I'm sure you all know.
Baby #: 2...DD is almost 22 months
Your plan this month: I've tracked my cycle a while and it is textbook, based on my app and CM I believe O happened on Sunday. We BD'd Wednesday-Saturday (vacation! ha) but couldn't yesterday. We also used lube (KY) on Saturday--didn't know any better? So I'm not feeling too hopeful. I'll break out the ovulation sticks next month if this didn't work.
nectarine / 2591 posts
sheskrafty: That sucks
@travellingbee: FX this is your month! Are they planning to do anything different this month?
@auggiefrog: I can't believe I am not even at a point I can start testing!
@Mrs. Taco: So AF should be due about the 12th? You could probably starting testing around the 7th/9dpo if you are really eager, depends if you are ok with seeing a bfn.
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@AprilFool: We are doing a phone regroup with the doctor tomorrow morning. I guess we'll know more then. I'm hesitant to keep upping the ante (money-wise) when I feel like we're going to need IVF anyway.
grapefruit / 4361 posts
@travellingbee: I hope your phone call can give you some space and resolution about whatever path you choose!!
I'm hopeful that I O-ed yesterday or today! My temps have been so unreliable due to long distance travel and restless sleep, but between lots of CM, high readings on the CBFM, and clearly positive/negative OPKs, I am pretty hopeful. We're going to try again tonight but it will be the 3rd night in a row, so we'll see! Hopefully the rest of this week will be solid sleep and high temps in the morning. I have a obgyn appt on Wednesday to discuss possible PCOS, so, FX for that too!

@travellingbee: Good luck in the morning! If you think it's heading to ivf can you skip the next iui and go there?
@DesertDreams88: Yay for O! Welcome to the tww.

@AprilFool: no, we are going to switch doctors for IVF because ours is really expensive. So we need to set up a consultation etc and I'm already on day 2.
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@AprilFool: by switching doctors it looks like we'll cut our costs in half or more!
nectarine / 2591 posts
@travellingbee: Woah! That is a huge deal. Totally worth switching.
pear / 1639 posts
@AprilFool: AF should be the 13th (I think because March is a long month?) but I'll try and POAS on the 7th! Now I get why I've seen threads that say the TWW is hard!
@travellingbee: Glad you found a cheaper doc but that is frustrating. I wish healthcare was streamlined so people didn't have to go through that! Good luck with the new dr

Hi! I'm a long-time lurker, first-time poster!
Cycle Day: 16
TTC Cycle #: 4
Ovulation and POAS dates: O around 4/3-5. POAS would be around 4/16, but my luteal phase is so short (8-9 days) I've never made it that far!
Baby #: 1
Your plan this month: It's my first cycle on 50mg Clomid CD 5-9 to treat delayed ovulation/short luteal phase. I'm also using the CBFM and charting.
Chart link: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/552265/
We're keeping it pretty relaxed for Easter, just dinner with my extended family.
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
We had a good conference call with the doctor this morning and she was really positive about my response to the Clomid. She wants me to do another cycle on it and she said it didn't make too much difference for us if we wanted to do IUI or TI because we don't have any other issues and have gotten pregnant several times on our own. So, we are going to do Clomid + TI this cycle which is cheaper and more natural feeling. I am happy with that choice. Maybe it will work.
ETA: We are still going to speak with other doctors about moving forward in the future with IVF.

Cycle Day: 19
TTC Cycle #: 2
Ovulation and POAS dates: 3/29-3/30, and probably 4/12
Baby #: 2, I have a 2.5 year old daughter
Your plan: Not freak out. I miscarried at 21 weeks last August and it took me until last month to try again and that was a miscarriage too. So .... my goal is to just not over think things.
cherry / 111 posts
Cycle Day: 16
TTC Cycle #: 6
Ovulation and POAS dates: got a peak OPK result today, so probably will O today or tomorrow hoping to wait to POAS until April 14
Baby #: 1
Your plan this month: it's my first full month charting. I'm trying hard to be patient this month! But for the first time I feel like I finally know my O date and we BD this morning, so I'm excited that we finally (hopefully) have the timing right
apple seed / 3 posts
Cycle Day: 11dpo
TTC Cycle #: 3
Ovulation: March 20th
POAS dates: March 27th (7dpo - negative), March 30 (10dpo -negative) - making myself wait until April 3rd
Baby #: 1
Your plan this month: BD on all potential ovulation dates, OPKs, Maca and Royal Jelly, Preseed, toning down the exercise

And just for fun… What are your Easter plans?
Mom is coming to visit. Sunrise service and then brunch and beach day!
nectarine / 2527 posts
Guess I'll join now
Cycle Day: 3
TTC Cycle #: 2 since ectopic in January and last one that just passed was a chemical
Ovulation and POAS dates: somewhere between the 15-17. Poas 27th
Baby #: 2 Lo will be 14 months on the 13th
Your plan this month: same just bd as much as possible around O, temping, and opks
Chart link: don't know how to share it.
And just for fun… What are your Easter plans? Coloring eggs with LO and my two nieces Saturday, doing Easter activities with all the kids at the church Sunday and then Easter egg/ baseball game with my family after church.
Good luck to everyone!

Aprilfool: can you please change my testing date to April 10? Thanks!
grapefruit / 4361 posts
@travellingbee: So glad you had a good phone talk and that TI is a good option for you Do trigger shots get done with TI?
@aegie: So, so sorry to hear about your losses. I simply can't imagine; my 6-wk loss wrecked me for months. Does your obgyn "know why" or have some sort of plan for supporting a future pregnancy? All the best wishes for you for this cycle.
MrsD2442 & BeachLover1330: welcome!
