@aegie: So sorry for your losses. I can't imagine how difficult that must of been.

AFM - This month feels just like last month so hope is fading and after a few very tough days with my non napping and non listening toddler am feeling a little hormonal and emotional!

@DesertDreams88: we did genetic testing after my D&E to see if we would have any answers, but she was genetically healthy ... her heart just stopped beating for whatever reason. So it's even harder to just accept. Not that I would wish a genetic abnormality on my baby, but it would have made the reason for the miscarriage a little easier, at least for me.

Ok so here's my dilemma ladies. Yesterday I stopped bleeding and had just a semi heavy spotting so I decided to test just to see was it negative but the test popped up positive right away and darker than the test was on Saturday which was 9dpo. When the bleeding started Sunday all my symptoms pretty much left but the heavy achy bbs. So what do u ladies think. I'll be retesting when I get home today but here's yesterday dollar store test which would have been 13dpo

Eta. Also I have completely stopped spotting or bleeding today.

    cantaloupe / 6397 posts

@Honeygold89: huh. That's interesting. If the test got darker then I just can't see it being a chemical... I'd probably go to the doctor and see if they'd do betas. Fingers crossed for you!!!

  13. Honeygold89

    nectarine / 2527 posts

@sslm: that's what I was thinking. It's a little similar to the ectopic I had in January but I had bad cramps with the bleeding then and got dark positives when I stopped bleeding. I haven't had anything more than mild cramps Sunday and that was the only time I cramped this time.

  14. travellingbee

    hostess / papaya / 10219 posts

@Honeygold89: didn't a similar thing happen with your ectopic? I would definitely call your doctor and ask them to do a beta.

Eta: ah we must have been typin at the same time. My chemical did get darkwr before it got lighter, but by the time I bled, it had dropped. It concerns me that you bled and it didn't drop. FXed everything is fine and your doctor can get you in for a beta to ease your mind.

  15. Honeygold89

    nectarine / 2527 posts

@travellingbee: yes pretty much the only difference was I bleed for my normal af 5 days but I had bad cramps worst then normal af cramps the whole time. This time I only had mild cramps and only for Sunday and I only bleed for 4 days. I'll test today and see if it's darker or lighter and I'll most likely call my doctor tomorrow and make an appointment

  16. AprilFool

    nectarine / 2591 posts

@Honeygold89: How heavy was the bleed? Could it of been implantation? I have a friend who thought it was her period and she has a 1yr old now. With your ectopic I would call asap though.

  17. Honeygold89

    nectarine / 2527 posts

@AprilFool: the first days it was medium to heavy and the second day it was medium but the last two days it was really light

  18. AprilFool

    nectarine / 2591 posts

@Honeygold89: Is that different for you? Let us know what your OB says!

  19. travellingbee

    hostess / papaya / 10219 posts

@Honeygold89: I wouldn't wait to call, but that's just me. If it was a chemical especially that early and you already bled like that it wouldn't be getting darker. If it was implantation bleeding it likely wouldn't have been that heavy. Maybe I'm just a worrywart. Very hopeful for you that it's a sticky pregnancy!

@Honeygold89: interesting.. I'd call your OB

  21. Honeygold89

    nectarine / 2527 posts

@AprilFool: it's pretty close to my normal af it starts light then heavy then light.

@travellingbee: @BandDmommy: I will but I'll have to try and catch them after class today I hve a very important test in less then 30 mins.

I didn't have any pregnancy test at the house so before I left I took a opk and it turned positive immediately so I'll definitely call today or soon as they open in the morning and if all else fells I'll just go to the er

@Honeygold89: Same thing here, my test line was gone by the time I bled. Hoping you still have a chance!

@Honeygold89: I hope you still have a chance! Def call to see what they think.

This whole waiting game is too much, now all I'm doing is regretting not using OPK's (didn't even know what they were) and using lube on the fourth day of BDing--day before what I think was O...or was it? Yeah, those are all the thoughts in my head. I'm going crazy for no good reason.

I've been reading posts on here and there are quite a few ladies who got a positive at 8DPO so why not start then? I know that it can take a lot more time than that but.....yeah. See, crazy.

Hey yall, I have a question for you ladies who get O pains. When you get them does that mean you're getting close to O, you are Oing or you already O'd??? I'm pretty sure I get them every month but no BFP yet

  27. travellingbee

    hostess / papaya / 10219 posts

@Shannonrenee0201: It can be any of those things depending on the person, I hear. Are you using OPK's?

  28. Shannonrenee0201

    coffee bean / 35 posts

@travellingbee: I did last month but I'm not this month. I was going to but changed my mind

  29. Honeygold89

    nectarine / 2527 posts

@simplyfelicity: we'll see I have mixed feelings about it right now of course I hope it goes well, but I don't want to be too hopeful after the ectopic in January.

@Mrs. Taco: I got a negative at 8dpo but got a faint positive at 9dpo last Saturday.

@JennyG: my cousin had the same thing happen to her last year and her son is 5 weeks old so hopefully but Im not going to set my hopes up too high.

@Torchwood: maybe I'll take all the luck I can right now.

I have not made an appointment yet ladies having an issue with my insurance company so hopefully I can get it worked out by tomorrow and hurry up and make my appointment.
So I ovulated a few days later then usual but I ran to the store on my break inbetween classes and took a few different test and all positive. If I go by ff O date I'm 14dpo today which is exactly 4 weeks but If I go by lmp I would be 5 weeks. So do yall think the estimator is on point with my O date?

Of course I'm going crazy now because just Sunday I thought it was over

@Honeygold89: I totally, totally understand. I had two losses in a row and was very cautious and guarded with this one. Are all of those tests from today? All those tests look consistent with 14 dpo. Fingers really tightly crossed for you.

  31. travellingbee

    hostess / papaya / 10219 posts

@Honeygold89: I understand why you'd be cautious as well since I also went through two losses in a row. It was rough and I know that when I get another BFP I will be cautious with that as well. I hope you can get into the doctor tomorrow! Best wishes!!

The tests I think look fine for 14dpo, so that could go either way. With my successful pregnancy my 14dpo was as dark as the control (I had gotten a definite but lighter line at 10dpo) but that doesn't mean much since people all metabolize hcg into their urine in different concentrations. I've seen plenty of people with successful pregnancies have bfps at 14dpo that looked like that.

  32. Honeygold89

    nectarine / 2527 posts

@simplyfelicity: yup from about 25mins ago with a 2 hr hold
@travellingbee: I have had two losses but not back to back the first was two years ago and then the ectopic in January of course so I think no matter what I'll be hesitant with any pregnancy. My test with DS looked like this too so I know it can happen ugh I hope I can make an appointment too

@AprilFool: as of right now can you take me off the list for this month either way I'll still be a cheerleader for the rest of you ladies. Thanks!

  34. AprilFool

    nectarine / 2591 posts

@Honeygold89: That looks pretty consistent with 14dpo. Even with the bleed your temp never dropped below the cover line, maybe a twin like @torchwood: said. Hope you aced your exam!

@Honeygold89: Wow, what a surprising journey! Best of luck with sticky baby dust and scheduling an appointment!

Gals, I am crossing my fingers so hard that this cycle works out.... my temps are so high! The only other time they've been this high was with my BFP in September! I've also had REALLY sensitive nipples ever since O, which is not a common thing for me at all.

Besides just wanting to be pregnant in general, I am really hoping this cycle works out for two others reasons: (1) I have to start various PCOS treatments next cycles and I'm really nervous about that; and (2) The timing of my trimesters / due date would be wonderful. I'm only 4dpo right now, but I will probably start testing on Monday at 8dpo.

The dark teal line is this cycle, and the light teal line is my BFP cycle from Sept.
