Mine wasn't planned but I had a c-section and I would suggest extra comfy outfits and a robe for yourself. You'll be there an extra day or two and I changed out of my hospital gown as soon as I could. I felt so much better after a shower and in my own stuff. I also felt more comfortable walking around, which really helps with recovery.

I didn't have a c section but found a sleep mask to be essential. And Chapstick and your own lotion bc the hospital will probably be really dry.

Mine wasnt scheduled but I still appreciated a nightgown. Visitors came and the hospital gown left nothing to the imagination.
You will also probably be on a clear liquid diet and if your hospital is like mine there's not many options. I had mom go get me decaf tea, vegetable soup and organic apple juice. I wish I'd packed these.
Otherwise I can't think of what I wish I'd had, compared with if I'd have had a vaginal birth. I anticipated being there 2 nights but was there 5, so I would anticipate your stay could be longer than expected.

definitely looser comfier clothes. i stayed in the gown the whole time, just because i didn't care at that point lol my first was unplanned, but this one is scheduled. i'm bringing an extra pillow, along with the boppy because it helped to pad my incision/stomach with the pillows while trying to breastfeed. also holding a pillow against your stomach when you cough/sneeze/laugh helps it to not hurt as much!
