What sort of outfits did you use for your baby for these things?!
I dont want to end up packing too many things for the hospital!

I packed a kimono style onesie because I didn't want to pull anything over her head!

We didn't take a hospital picture because my sister gifted us a newborn session from a friend that's a photographer. But for all of those pictures she was just in a diaper. We didn't want to dress her in anything that would take away from her, she's pretty enough without ruffles and bows
For the coming home outfit I just packed 2 onesies that were button up in different sizes (newborn and 0-3 months) because I wanted to make sure I had something to fit her. It wasn't anything special, just a cute onesie that we had. And socks and mittens- but that was the only time she ever wore mittens. She wore the hat that the hospital gave her.

our hospital doesnt do standard photos, but they had a photographer come around and do a full newborn session. It was pretty awesome. We just brought some cute blankets and left her in the white kimono thing they had on her in the hospital to keep it neutral. Plus pulling things over baby's head that early was terrifying for me lol.
For her going home outfit, I picked it out in advance, and brought a few extra just in case it was raining or something

The baby was just wearing the hospital issued onesie and swaddle blanket for her photo in the hospital. And for the drive home, we put her in a really cute dress. In hindsight, I would have put her in something more practical/comfy, like a pair of pj's. I was just too excited to put her in something cute but it really didn't work for her.

I was thinking about the coming home outfit-- are you supposed to avoid onesies since they might rub against the belly button? Or are cute onesie outfits OK?

We didn't get a hospital pic done since we took pics with DH's camera. We put our LO in a kimono top and pants. Nothing special.

We didn't do a coming home outfit. I just left him in his hospital gear (white top and white pants). That outfit just seemed so sentimental to me, I wanted to take pictures of him in his hospital clothes (1st set of clothes he ever wore) with the whole family at our house. I still have that outfit actually (and the beanie) in a memory box in our room. I'll be doing the same with #2.

DS was born on Easter last year so his coming home outfit was a "baby's first Easter" from Carter's (the somebunny loves me one). I just used a baby blue sleeper outfit for his hospital pictures and kept it simple.
