Well ladies, I am officially out. Womp womp. I am in the process of trying to get my hubby to help me decide whether we will start Clomid this month. BIG decision. At any rate, I will probably POAS again on the 31st. Fingers crossed for the rest of you! We need some BFPs here!

@Bigskygirl: Sorry to hear that Fingers crossed for later in the month for you.

I'm 6 DPO and feel like we are out because our timing was so bad (O-5 and O-4), but I've had some possible symptoms - pinchy cramps for a few days and some nausea today. Though that could definitely just be my mind playing tricks on me, since I know those are the symptoms I had with my son. I didn't get a BFP the first time until 14 DPO, so still some time to go

@loki: Can you add me to Roll Call!?

    Cycle Day: 28
    TTC Cycle #: 1? NTNP
    POAS date: 8/7
    Baby #1
Your plan this month: Dh and I have started back up at the gym as of a few weeks ago and I have been eating healthier again! Usual Folic Acid and vitamins. No formal plan, just going with the flow for a few months!! Would love to have a spring baby though as it works really well for our schedules and I'm biased- I was a spring baby! (And being preggo during the summer in TX would suck, seriously lol)
    Chart link: N/A
Something exciting you've done or are doing this summer: DH just got a new job last month so we are moving again But we really love the new place and the plan is to buy next summer/winter so we can stop apartment hopping lol!

DH and I weren't quite planning on full-time TTC until this time next year but have kinda been NTNP as of July! I have been feeling very "off" lately and realized that we BD on my likely O day. Super, super bloated, gassy, heavy boobs as of yesterday and had waves of sudden nausea since yesterday as well. I smelled DH's McGriddle this morning and almost yacked because it smelled like baby spit up I've been having unusual pinching cramps and pulls that are not my normal AF precursors. I guess we'll find out in a few days!!

    Good luck ladies!!

I'm definitely out too--temp fell again today, plus spotting, so AF is en route today or tomorrow. Maybe September will be lucky for us! It's the month of our four-year anniversary!

@angelachase: sorry about AF. I hope next month is lucky for you!

Is it a good sign that I keep on waking up at 5:30 and can't get back to sleep? Also my temp was up just a little bit this morning.

@SeptMomma12: I've also had some pinchy cramps. Actually off and on cramps (very dull) for the last week or two. It's been a weird month though, I have felt crampy the whole month. Who knows.

@loki: Is it too late for me to join??

Cycle Day: CD5, averaging 25 day cycles.
TTC Cycle #: 2ish. Last month was our first month where we actually had a chance, but revving things up this cycle as my baby fever is in overdrive.
POAS date: probably 8/23 or 8/24. Expecting AF on 8/24.
Baby # 2 (LO is almost 21 months)
Your plan this month: might use OPK's just to see when I ovulate....should be around 8/10 or 8/11, and just BD as much as possible around then...
    Chart link: not charting yet...
Something exciting you've done or are doing this summer: just enjoying the warm weather, beaches, and being outdoors with LO and DH!

I may be out this month, but AF has not shown up yet. I POAS'd Sunday and got a BFN I stopped taking the progesterone, since it delays getting AF, on Saturday so hoping AF should arrive on schedule in the next couple days. Holding on to little hope but shall see some results in the next couple days hopefully.

@hellobeeboston: Same here - been a very weird, crampy month. But I remember that from when I got pregnant with my son, so I'm not sure what to think! It's hard to know what's real and what's mental

sigh - went to test (early test - 9 dpo) and when I got up I realized that I had gotten my period overnight! So not only am I not pregnant, I also got my period 9 dpo! Breastfeeding and ttc is the worst.

@rockies11: @angelachase: @bigskygirl: sorry to hear you ladies are out. Fx for next month.

I'm out too. Bfn at 13 dpo with FRER, no AF yet likely due to progesterone cream. Trying to lengthen LP. I did end up showing my mom that blue dye test and she could see the shadow too. Upon researching those blue dye tests , I learned that they leave dye behind and cause a lot of false positives. Won't be using those again!

Hmm, I've been having some dull low back pain this morning. Looking back to when I was in the tww before my bfp I noted similar low back pain..... Symptom spotting!!!

I'll prob poas Friday the 8th (instead of the 9th) if AF isn't here already

How can I post photos on here? I've been doing the ovulation strips but I'm not 100% that yesterday and today's were positive of not. Would love to get opinions we bd anyways just in case

@hellobeeboston: You sound like me right now. So much symptom spotting.

I'm probably going to give in and test tomorrow morning. I'm really going to TRY to wait until tomorrow. I have been having weird cramping for almost a week, have been getting hunger pains a lot the last few days, and my boobs feel bigger. I've also had a little bit of lower back pain, which is very different from other back pain I've had before. I swear my body never screwed with me before I started TTC.

is anyone else still breastfeeding and ttc?

  27. hellobeeboston

    honeydew / 7235 posts

@auggiefrog: totally. When we aren't ttc my body is normal. Ha!

@Rockies11: not me. AF didn't return until a few weeks after I totally stopped BFing. I imagine its extra tough ttc & nursing! How old is your LO?

  28. Rockies11

    persimmon / 1363 posts

@hellobeeboston: she's 13 months! I have been reading over and over again the Kellymom breastfeeding and fertility thing, and I think where we are this month is ovulation with a luteal phase defect - so delayed ovulation, short LP. My LO still breastfeeds like a newborn (especially when I am around a lot and we have been on vacation for the past two weeks) so it feels like we'll never get there. But Kellymom says it's supposed to work eventually? I just am really impatient and want more baaaaaabbbiiiiiiiieeesssssss.

  29. hellobeeboston

    honeydew / 7235 posts

@Rockies11: yeah I know there have been bees on here that have successfully gotten pregnant while nursing. Maybe start a thread on it to get some advice?! I'm sure it will happen! Probably just harder to track your cycle so you may need to BD more often!

  30. NovBaby1112

    grapefruit / 4066 posts

@hellobeeboston: that sounds promising, esp since you had that before! I never had any symptoms with M, so I have no clue what the expect this time...@auggiefrog: goodluck! also sounds promising!

@Rockies11: no, I'm not...she weaned around 11 months. My period returned at 8 weeks though

  31. Bigskygirl

Before trying to conceive, I never imagined that there would be a time that I would anxiously await the arrival of AF. But now, here I sit with all of the tell tale signs that AF is on her way...spotting, moody, etc...but she is taking her sweet time to arrive. To make matters even MORE frustrating, my BBT is still very high (well above coverline). After it appeared that AF was on her way this weekend, my husband and I decided to take my physicians suggestion and start Clomid this month. Now, AF won't come and all I can do is continue to symptom spot for pregnancy. I'm going crazy from one moment to the next (and I KNOW it). Wish AF would just come so I can get on with the next cycle....Ugh, trying to conceive is such a mind game!

I was away for the weekend so feel like I missed out on lots. So sorry for those who are out. Wishing all of you the best of luck for the next cycle.

I am 8dpo now and I can't say that I really feel any symptoms. My first two cycles I was obsessed with every little "sign" and I just can't invest that much emotionally so this time I'm a lot more detached. The earliest I can test is Wednesday, though I might wait since I hate seeing a negative.

  34. meredithNYC

@Rockies11: I am not nursing still, but it seems that most women find it easier to conceive when they're down to just a couple of sessions a day.

so i've been symptom spotting like a mofo even though i know most of my symptoms are probably in my head/nothing out of the ordinary. Here's what i've had so far...

1dpo - really bad lower backache (i never have backaches)

2dpo - still had a lower backache (convincing myself i slept weird)

3dpo - super tired, fell asleep on the couch (and i never take naps), weird foot cramps

4dpo - fell asleep on the couch again, pretty bad headache

5dpo - super nauseous this morning (almost threw up on the commuter bus-fun!), headache

i know i'm probably over analyzing everything but i can't wait to test, 2ww is killing me. 10dpo is generally the earliest i should test right? i'd obviously want to poas sooner but i also don't want to waste tests when i know its still a bit early.

Hi ladies - I was MIA over the weekend....I didn't test because I started spotting and AF started right on time this morning

On to cycle 10! Good luck to the rest of the ladies testing! I hope to see more BFP's here!
