@NovBaby1112: not brown, but not red. I'll have to wait and see how it goes today.

@hellobeeboston: I spotted heavily for two days before I got my BFP with my son. Thought I had my period and didn't test until I realized it wasn't progressing to full AF. He's 22 months now:) Fingers crossed for you!

@SeptMomma12: thx!! That gives me some hope. I spotted when I was pregnant with my son too, but not until I was 6/7 weeks along (that was scary!) but all was fine.

@hellobeeboston: I think lots of people have had spotting and it ended up being okay...I would think if it wasn't red that would mean old blood...maybe it was from implantation? either way- I'll be keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best

@hellobeeboston: fingers crossed for you! I hope you get your BFP this month.

@hellobeeboston: my test looked like that and I spotted for a few days from my BFP. I'm 8 weeks today! FX and congrats!!!! Sticky dust!

@lil owl: How is it treating you? I am finding it so frustrating, because I am impatient, and we have bad baby fever in our house. Every cycle is totally different though! How are you supposed to conceive under these circumstances. But I am also unwilling to wean just to have a baby potentially maybe like a few months sooner. So I just am grouchy about it without any willingness to change anything, lol.

Can we discuss the fact that the FRERs I just bought were $24 at CVS?!? WTH???? Is that normal? or is cvs the worst place to buy these? There is a $5 online rebate on there, but jeez.

@littlek: I was going to wait until tomorrow morning but I think I will do one tonight! I'm commuting home on the train now
pomelo / 5041 posts
@hellobeeboston: With the FRER you're probably safe to test tonight. I would think, as others have said, that a BFP on an expired test is more likely to be accurate, since it would likely lead to a false negative over a false positive. Wishing you luck!

@Ashleyf21: That last one looks positive! The one before it looks not quite positive, but my first one of the day on the positive day always looks like that, and then I get a true positive on the second pee of the day!

@Rockies11: It's frustrating. And I feel like it won't work anyway. DS is only 6 month old... having him was difficult and his birth was horrible (in lack of a better word). I know me and I believe the longer I wait the more likely I won't want to go through this again. But I want him to have a sibling and we always wanted to have a big family. Having gone through all this I'm terrified. So I hope the sooner we TTC the less time I have to get more scared and dwell in my fears... if that makes any sense.
On the other hand I love A so much, I don't want to deprive him of anything. My cycles aren't what they used to be and I have no idea how to do this conceiving while breastfeeding thing... so, we'll try and whatever happens happens. I just hope it happens and everything goes well this time...
I wrote a novel. Sorry!!

@lil owl: yeah I started ov testing when H was 6 months, and I only ovulated once until 13 months, hahaha. I was having really long cycles and periods, then finally this month was a clear ovulation, but a deficient luteal phase. We were serious about trying again (more for baby fever and because we want a large family and are getting a late start) at 9 months, and we haven't even had the opportunity until this last month due to no ovulation. I used to have totally regular 28 day periods, with ovulation on the 14th!

@hellobeeboston: Can't wait to hear your results!! I feel like everyone who has been getting BFPs has been spotting, so don't stress!

I'm thinking about testing again? My temp went back up by .3 this morning, which is really weird. It actually has not gone below cover yet. I also have what I think is AF, but it is really really light and not bright red. On the other hand, I have painful cramps that feel exactly like first day of AF cramps. If my temp is still up tomorrow maybe I will test. Does implantation bleeding ever happen at 12-13 DPO? I thought it generally started sooner, like 7-10 DPO.
Congrats to the recent BFPs and I'm sorry to everyone who is out!

@hellobeeboston: Ugh, I feel your pain with the expensive CVS tests! I made that mistake last month... sticking to Amazon from now on. Good luck tonight!

@angelachase:
IB can occur after actual implantation, also, so many ladies spot for a few weeks in early pregnancy. Test! Test!

AF came so onto the next cycle- I'll test August 28. But I'll be honest, this cycle was so weird with intense cramps 8-11 dpo, that I think maybe my body was trying to implant but it didn't work out. I've never had anything like that happen in my life. And I don't spot before AF and this time 5-6 days of spotting....so either way I'm out but it's just weird. Hoping August will still be lucky!
ETA: if this is our cycle, my due date would be our anniversary. That seems pretty lucky!!
clementine / 912 posts
@travellingbee: Sorry about AF. I agree an anniversary baby would be great!
honeydew / 7235 posts
@travellingbee: aww bummer. Yeah, what a weird cycle for you. I bet something was trying to happen in there....
@angelachase: yeah. Test again if af is not in full swing & if temp is up.
Ok. So I tested. BFN. I will try again in a.m. I got the digital tests too which I don't like. Grr.
nectarine / 2465 posts
@travellingbee: noooo I'm sorry
@hellobeeboston: digital tests aren't really sensitive, you should have gotten a FRER!
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@angelachase: You just never know... My temp when I have AF can be all over the place. But then again, some people do spot that late into pregnancy. With my first I started spotting at six weeks for a few days...
@hellobeeboston: FXed that it says Yes!! in the am.
It's been a slow start to the month. congrats to those with bfps and
to everyone testing soon!

@KelLeeLeee: ugh I know. I thought I did. I grabbed it fast on my way to the train. And it was stupid expensive. Waste!!

@Bigskygirl: I'm pretty sure I'll be out this month, unless by some miracle I happen to ovulate within the next week. My ob/gyn told me to test at the 28 day mark and call her. BFN yesterday night (but I was expecting that). I'm supposed to check back in with her next week. I thought she was going to write the rx for provera, but she wants to let it go for a bit longer. I'll let you ladies know if I happen to get a temp shift, but I'm not expecting much.

@travellingbee: I'm sorry about AF ....but goodluck next cycle
@hellobeeboston: ugh boo, that's crazy expensive! Yea, I would try the FRER's...I don't like the digitals because I like to see if there COULD be a line. Goodluck tomorrow though, I'm rooting so hard for you!

False alarm! AF was just off to a slow start but has now arrived in full force. Sorry she showed for you too @travellingbee!
pear / 1849 posts
@travellingbee: Sorry you're officially out Fingers crossed for you later in the month - an anniversary baby would be awesome!
@hellobeeboston: Boo. Definitely test again in the morning and let us know
I'm 8 DPO over here and having a lot of nausea and a little bit of cramping. But I'm convinced it has to be mental, because our timing was pretty terrible. Hoping to hold out til Sunday to test, but may do it before we leave for the weekend on Friday morning.

@hellobeeboston: Also, ack - I haven't seen that display of digital before. "No" just seems a lot harsher than "negative" or "not pregnant".
pear / 1849 posts
@lilyofthewest: I was thinking the same thing. Seems like there's gotta be a nicer way to say it!

@SeptMomma12: I think there should be TTC and ahcrap! digitals with targeted messages like,
not yet, keep trying
wahooo!
you're about to spend a lot of money
well, at least you can drink
etc
honeydew / 7235 posts
@lilyofthewest: yes! So harsh. I like "well, at least you can have a drink" haha
