Game plan this month: nothing special (except the obvious
). I got a new box of digital OPK's but I decided I'm not using them this month because I'm not feeling lucky and I don't want the money wasted - on the other hand, if I do get KU I won't mind at all about the unused expensive box! 
Also, I have an appointment with my obgyn next week for a general check-up.

@auggiefrog: yes, first time using OPKs in 2 years. I used the smiley tests before but couldn't justify the expense! Anyway, didn't test on CD 18, I guess I should have!
@travellingbee: @meredithNYC: yeah, I guess I will do morning/night tests next time around. Also, I usually O around day 19 I think. And I'm using equate OPKs this time around.
The smileys were easier!So, we got busy CD 16 & 17, then were traveling. So, boo. I'm thinking bad timing. Well, I will keep up with it just in case!

I guess I'm in for Aug. Not sure of our chances because we were only able to have sex 2-3 days before O (once) but I guess it only takes 1.

Your plan this month: Knew we wouldn't have a chance to get it on much, so we didn't really have a plan. We had sex in the AM 2-3 days before O and I used Preseed and a softcup after (but only because I had to get up and go after).

Something exciting you've done or are doing this summer: What's summer? Haha.....office jobs suck......working on making final decisions on our house in the next few months. -
@KelLeeLeee: I would, but it is a hot mess. I need to just use FF already and stop with the paper, but I'm old school like that!
@hellobeeboston: The smiley ones are for sure easier, aren't they? Like you, I just could not justify the expense though I did like them.
@Starfish: My fingers are crossed for you! I wasn't sure when I was going to ovulate, so ended up just having sex twice: O-4 and O-1. But as you said, it only takes one time.

okay ladies... i caved and tested last night. BFN
but it's still early so i'm not out until i'm out. alllll yesterday afternoon/evening i had these... twinges. not sure how to describe them. they don't really hurt (still feeling it) and they don't feel like period cramps at all. i get really intense period cramps that start higher up and in my back. these are just like sporadic little flicks of... something. and they're super low, just above my pubic bone and more so on the left side. i was CONVINCED i'd get a bfp. no such luck so i'm going to wait until fri or sat and retest.

@loki: That sounds very promising! I had very similar twinges with DS (also on the left side), but didn't get my BFP til 14 DPO.
2 DPO here, but not feeling good about this one. I ovulated a day later than expected so we only ended up hitting O-5 and O-4. My toddler has been VERY challenging the last few days, so I'm suddenly feeling like I'm in no rush to get pregnant!

@loki: I caved and tested last night and this am and got a BFN. We seem to be in the same boat. I will probably hold out until Saturday since I am starting to run low on tests and don't really want to buy more. FX for us!

I'm 7DPO, yawwwnnnnn. Feeling cramps, twinges, sore boobs.......but that is all normal for me in the week pre-AF. My temp did rise again this morning though.

Guys, i FINALLY got a positive opk on CD24! Small victory! Haha of course i only got a chance to BD O-3 because of a work trip, but here's hoping!

@hellobeeboston: SO irrational! Diaper changes seem to be our latest battle as well, though they are nothing compared to the sunscreen meltdowns. I'm really hoping this is teething related or something, because the last few days have been brutal!

guys, i've become a monster. i went to the dollar store at lunch and bought a test and tested again : / still bfn. NOW i am for sure waiting until fri. i hate seeing those negatives and staring at it forever trying to convince myself there's something there. but here's my excuse:
i was in the elevator going to lunch and a coworker who is in her mid40s or so, OUT OF NOWHERE, goes "i think you have a bun in the oven" b ecause i mentioned i was really tired. i was like what, no way! stop. she obviously has NO idea we're trying because i'm not close to anyone i work with. well then she goes "i hvae predicted 3 pregnancies before the mom even knew!" and two of them were other coworkers. so i just denied it. then went straight to the dollar store. so weird eh?! -
@loki: That is so weird. That would've really freaked me out and probably prompted me to run to the store too. At least that's a good sign!!!

@KelLeeLeee: it's possible, i've had about a litre of water today. not a ton but enough. my pee was kinda clear. also... $1.25 test! haha. sooo not putting much stock in it. AND i'm only 11dpo (i think) so... we'll see. i'm trying to be realistic but all these things keep adding up. i know lots of people say they get tons of signs/symptoms and get bfns or AF shows up though so i know i'm just being crazy. -

Agh! Either really good or really bad news. This morning In the plane I had very sharp pinching in my pelvis. I had something similar with my my son and I swear it was implantation. Just now I went to the bathroom and I was spotting when I wiped. Just a little pinkish/ brownish cm when I wiped. I'm cd 20 and it seems unlikely Id be getting AF but I don't know...

@loki: haha. your co-worker is so crazy. I worked with a girl who claimed she could tell someone was pregnant before it was announced, but she just kept her inklings to herself and the other girls that she worked closely with. But hopefully thats a good sign!
@travellingbee: That sounds promising!So I'm on 4 or 5 DPO, and have been feeling some light cramping or pinching on and off all day. And just a minute ago I felt like I was getting wet down there. But I'm really trying not read too much into what my body is doing. I was so convinced I must be pregnant last month, and all for nothing!
