I got it out last night and was completely bewildered. Did someone show you, did you just mess with it, or did you read the manual? I started to read the manual, but I was on information overload since I had just finished my reading for our childbirth class.

@rahlyrah: hahaha! I'm glad its not just me! I sat on the couch surrounded by a sea of parts for about 5 minutes and packed it right back up. It scared me.

I was taught by the lactation consultant at the hospital after I gave birth. I was totally bewildered by the pump and hoped that the topic would be covered in my breastfeeding class but it was not.

I needed to pump in the hospital because LO was early and a sleepy eater (needed supplementation). The LC there taught me.

@grizz: I was soo intimidated but once I tried it, it was fine. I watched a youtube video (visual learner) and hooked it all up/cleaned it while pregnant. Then I just hooked up and tried it one morning right after I'd fed LO! It's easier than it looks, I promise.

I skimmed the manual, and tried it out when I was about 39 weeks. I'm glad I did because it was a little overwhelming!

I was taught at the hospital after I had DD. My one at home was a different brand, but it worked exactly the same!
